Everything was absolutely perfect. You had your family, a new home and you were going to get married.
Turns out, Jotaro knew about a cute little town called Morioh-cho, somewhere he definitely hadn't fought Stand Users and the like recently, like ten year old Jolyne was, as her father put it: 'insinuating', which looked like a fairy village in the travel brochure. Cherry blossom trees were in full bloom, pink petals scattered over the ground in a blanket of serenity. Small shops peppered the streets, a café standing out most to you. You wondered why it had taken you so long to finally wed. Looking back, it was as if you just hadn't gotten around to it. Jotaro's job was demanding, somehow. What the fuck did a Marine Biologist do that took up all his time?!Either way, he finally pulled up the car and trailer in front of a detached house. Its garage sat on top of an incline, the stairs leading from street level to the ground floor level. Beautiful strings of morning glory clung to the wall, complementing the sugar white paintwork and rosebush lined path. Shuttered windows had been hard to come by back in America, so it was a wicked addition to your new house! Jolyne shot out of the car, desperate to stretch her legs and moan about her father's driving. Nobody saw, but a smirk crossed his lips at the girl's boldness.
"It even has an attic, this is so cute!" You looked up, admiring how tall it was. A little hand took yours, pulling you towards the front door.
"Come on, Mom! Let's go inside!"
"Alright, JoJo," you giggled, searching your handbag for the metal cut. "Let me get the key."The door creaked open, half of you anticipating a creepy, barren room. Whilst this house was in desperate need of a deep clean, it was otherwise exactly how the advert described it. Jotaro shouted from behind you both, juggling suitcases and bags. You moved, subconsciously nudging your daughter too. Trailing through to the kitchen, the marine biologist sighed, clicking his tongue in irritation. Star Platinum, a manifestation of his fighting spirit, mirrored the gesture.
"You know, you could help carry the bags?" You knew he was joking. Approaching his Stand, you reached out to stroke his chin, making the parmaviolet poltergeist squirm a little. He was like a puppy when you showed him affection, much to Jotaro's enjoyment, since it put a smile on your face. That and his chin tickled where your fingers petted Star.
"You aren't demanding, are you, Splat?"
