"How many times do I have to—?"
Droplets rung out in the cave behind him, from what sounded like a splash. Looking back, you were in the water, scales out. Your eyes glowed in the darkness of the cave, startling him.
"There's something down there, I just want to go and grab it and then I'll be back. It should take me... Ah... Ten minutes." Losing his patience, the Japanese boy grit his teeth. He guessed he could spare ten minutes.
"Fine. Ten minutes."
"I don't know why you care so much." You had dipped beneath the wavering ripples before you could hear his retaliation. Checking his watch, you had nine minutes from now before he would start worrying.
Why was he even entertaining this?! You were being a problem to him. Huffing, he looked back out to sea, thinking about what he would say to his grandfather if any harm befell you.

Ten minutes passed. The tide was beginning to come in again. Outside was getting pretty dusky now, too. There seemed to be no sign of you. He was just about to send Star Platinum when he remembered he was supposed to be playing hard to get. You could breathe in water after all. Also, what would an enemy Stand be doing in a place like this? Muttering to himself, bubbling came from behind him – Was it...?
"Y/N? Is that you?"
There was no answer, just some serious movement from the water. Something was thrashing beneath there. Peering over the edge, he felt his chest fall in on itself, backing into the cave wall with a crack. Cave spilled onto the floor like mercury swooping the ground. Groaning, he sat up slightly, seeing the cave fade to black.

. If you aren't back up in ten minutes I'll kill you myself."
"I don't know why you care so much."
"Because you're tolerable, how's that?!"
You had dipped before you could hear his retaliation. Ripples were the only thing left behind. Checking his watch, you had nine minutes.
Why was he even entertaining this?! You were being a problem to him. It suddenly registered you had told him he could do 'whatever he wanted with you' when you resurfaced. Anything?
Simply smirking at the thought, he decided he wasn't that disrespectful.
