He was slimmer than you imagined, holding himself tall behind a full, white mask. Tilting your head to the side slowly, you pulled a small envelope from up your sleeve, bowing and offering it to him. Seemed this was a genuine job after all, despite being unable to see his face. The smell of cigarette smoke vaguely clung to him, masked only slightly by expensive cologne.
"I have your message right here," you lulled, still as the man approached you, holding his hand out to grab your offering as you suspected.

Meanwhile, Jotaro was striding through vastly decorated corridors searching for where you went and considering his speech. His phone vibrated against his leg, signalling him to answer.
"Hello?"
"Jotaro, don't get mad."
"Polnareff?"
"Listen man, I messed up."
"I really haven't got time for this, I'm at that ball."
"No, seriously. I set Y/N up. She was supposed to run into you but she's bumped into some other guy on the balcony!" Furrowing his brow, the biologist grit his teeth into the handset. "It was an airtight plan, seriously! Well, until one of the local gang members found out..."
"Polnareff, focus! Where is she?"
Manically tapping away at his keyboard, he hacked into Jotaro's phone with ease, finding him via location services and tracking him through his phone's camera. A separate window showed other live CCTV footage whilst another tab was a map of the building for him to cross examine.
"Okay, you gotta go through that door behind you and to your left." Obeying, the stoic swung round and barged through a pair of huge, heavy set golden doors. They swooped back and forth from the strike, his feet hitting the ground with massive steps.
"Why did you do this?"
"I tried to help by forcing you to spend some time together, I have access to cameras all over Italy and happened to stumble upon your row the other day."
"Yo

Suddenly
you clambered up onto the rail of the balcony, all lizard like, body bending in places it normally shouldn't as he chased you, vomiting what you imagined were just more lies.
"I knew you'd do that. Come down from there, you're getting agitated--"
"Don't lie to me," you warned, deliberately gliding from foot to foot to worry him further, panic inducing in his mind in case you missed your mark.
"If you lose your breathing, you'll fall. Get down."
"And what? Idiot." Grinning to yourself in disbelief, you continued to prance along the stone with Jotaro's protesting footsteps echoing after. "What's so terribly important you needed me to bring it to you?" you asked mockingly, presenting the envelope from up your sleeve. His daybreak coloured eyes looked at it for a split second, before shaking his head.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, get down."'Polnareffland.'"
"Polnareffland...? Polnareff?!"
"Aha, there it is. Sounded stupid." Squinting, he was at a loss for words. 'Polnareffland'? Maybe it wasn't a coincidence he called after all. Jotaro made a mad dash for your arm to stop you leaning back at that very second, grasping onto your wrist with Star Platinum. He clung to you, his eyes hysterically trying to meet with yours on a higher level than just sight as you shape shifted into his purple poltergeist before his eyes, then gradually into Jotaro himself when he got hold of you with his own hands, pulling you from the stone into a bone crushing hug.
"Get off me you creep-!!" you struggled, kicking a foot up to winch yourself away from him, though his grip was vice-like on your wrist so you only managed to pull away to arms-length.

through the door. Turning your gaze behind you, the blonde teen stared at his hand, inspecting the pin before him before retrieving it. Awe-inspiringly, it moved before your eyes and back again, much to your amazement as he pinned it back to his jacket.
"You got me. I'm sorry I stole from you," you said, facing away to look over the balcony. "I was after you before, but I'm not now. You should just go."
But Giorno was inquisitive, there was more to this than you were letting on.
"No. I won't go until you tell me why you were pursuing me."
"You come from an unfortunate family."
