20 - He is Jealous

I couldn't look at both of them without feeling betrayed. I can't believe they would hide all this from me, from FAB5. We never had secrets from each other since we were born. Cabir and Mukti were looking at them for answers while I was still in shock, Manik is by my side since the moment I walked on my Sister and best friend sucking each other's faces.

"I know you all are upset but please don't hate us, we have our reasons.." The moment I saw them both I was horrified, I demanded an explanation, and then they both thought it's better to call Cabir and Mukti too. I don't know how long they have been going out behind our back.

"Really Aliya, what are your reasons huun? I need to hear that, we never kept secrets from each other. Didn't I come to all of you confessing about my first date then why couldn't you both?" Just like me, twins were hurt too. I might be Aliya's real sister, but being in the same grade, Mukti and her have been best friends forever and I can feel why she is so hurt.

Dhruv - It's not like we wanted to hide Mukti and our situation is different so don't compare.

Cabir - Then tell us why both of you couldn't trust your own family, your friends that you need to hide all this.

Nandini - I don't even know what to say to both of you.

Aliya - I am sorry Nonu, I am sorry guys.

Mukti - You should be.

Aliya break down and Manik took her in his embrace. He has been quiet throughout without interfering and I was glad that he respected us this much. "It's okay, it's okay shhh... Stop crying, they are just upset cause they love you both and they would have been the happiest if you would have told them.  Even I would have been happy, we can trust Dhruv with you he is our buddy..."

And we all nodded at that, of course, we can. We aren't mad that they are dating each other, we are mad that they couldn't trust us enough to tell us about their feelings. "It started almost 6 months back, we two already had a soft corner for each other, and since we both were the shy ones in the group, we connected well. And soon I realized, that this connection is way stronger than friendship. It was love and he loved me too... But we were too scared to let anyone know, cause I am older than him... I don't know how everyone is going to react and I couldn't lose him. So we kept it a secret and it kills me every day to hide it from you all... I am sorry please don't hate me..."

And I hugged my sister, what sort of sibling I am when I couldn't read her feelings. "I am sorry, Aaloo, I shouldn't be shouting at you, but don't you dare think we all hate us cause we don't, right guys?" I looked at the other three and soon they joined the group hug pulling Dhruv. "You are just a year older than him Aliya and we live in modern society, all of this really doesn't matter and fuck modern society age has never bothered society before. So chill you both and I am dying to say this... My best friend and my Sister..."

Cabir imitates Ross's expression and we all burst out laughing, yeah exactly My best friend and my Sister, now if I think about it there could be no better partner for her than him. They just compliment each other so well and I am glad they are together.

After today's incident, I got too exhausted that a warm long shower was much needed. We have decided to first tell our parents about their relationship and then they will go public, yeah no more hidings. I wrapped the towel around my body and came out of the washroom.

"Holy Jesus, what the hell are you doing here?" I almost screamed seeing Manik sprawled carefree on my bed with one of my books in his hand. His focus was solely on the book and I secured the towel tightly around my body. My door was locked from the inside, I locked it before going for the bath but my window was open, explained how he came here.

"Will you answer me?" I started rummaging my cupboard for something to wear and thank goodness his eyes were on book and not on my half-naked body. "Nandini" he called. "Yes?" I take a quick peek, he is still focused on the book. "Shut up.." Real Mature Manik Malhotra, or wait Monster Manik Malhotra. I just rolled my eyes at him and again made my way to the bathroom. But something came under my feet and  I jerk forward falling straight on Manik, holy heavens!

Fuck Fuck Fuck!! Leave it on Nandini Taylor to end up in such a situation, he eyed my almost naked self wrapped in a towel, and a smirk settled on his lips. God, I couldn't remove the fact from my mind that I am stark naked under this towel, not even the underwear, yepp as naked as a newborn baby and if the towel fell off, then he would be getting a good look at my precious assets and I haven't even shaved myself that would be so embarrassing.

"Stop thinking Kitten, stop thinking at all... This towel is not going to come off, I hope it will not..." I looked up at him who was staring back with a smug smirk, Okay Nonu stops thinking. I immediately got up making sure the towel is still there covering all the right places while he shook his head with a hint of a teasing smile.

I came out of the washroom completely dressed only to find a grumpy Manik. "Why do you have Aryaman's book?" What? Why will I have his book? He is not even in any of my classes, he is a senior. I took the book from him and yes it was his book, his name was there. "I don't know maybe I picked it up mistakenly when I collided with him earlier today..."

I said with a shrug tossing it back in my bag so I can give it to him tomorrow. "Why did you collide with him, can't you walk without barging into someone, especially him..." And my jaw was almost on the floor. Is he for real? if I didn't know him better, I would have thought he is jealous.

"Shut up Manik, it's not like I do all this deliberately. It was an accident and accidents can happen anytime, anywhere and with anyone so suck it up..." He mumbled something under his breath and glared at me, while I also didn't avert my gaze and glared back. A glaring competition was going on between us and nobody was ready to back down.

And soon he sighed making me squeal inwardly that I won. "Look I know you are too stubborn but I want you to stay away from him. I don't get a good vibe from him and I mean it Nandini. Stay away from him.." I would have not paid any attention to his warning but there was something in his tone, in his eyes that made me nod my head without arguing...

"Good, now close the light I am sleepy..." I watched him settling on my bed carefree making me smile lightly, so he is again sleeping here and there was a whole zoo running in my stomach again. I closed the lights and came under the covers keeping a good distance from him and when I was about to doze off completely I felt his arms around my waist while he pulled me closer.

I am so so sad, so so disappointed. Why there are no votes and much views on this book. It's a manan story and top of that it has FAB5 then what's missing? Am I not writing it good? If there will be no improvement than I will end this book.. So please a little help needed here, votes, vote, votes, votes...
