52 - The shit is about to go down!

"Seriously sister leave me alone, you are a grown up women, you can surely go home on your own, let me spend some quality time with my girlfriend. Okay love ya babye..."

Can't believe this little shit hung up on me. Jesus, why do I have to be left alone. Everyone have plans just not with me. Now I have to walk home that too alone. Hate you Cabir Malhotra. I started walking towards my home taking my own sweet time. So much is happening in our life, our regular life has just turned into some fantasy drama and we all are still struggling to accept it all. Now this Nandini's lookalike has made things more complicated. I wonder, who she is here for. 

I was lost in my own world when a cloth covered my mouth making me struggle for a second before I lost my conscious.

"Hey kid, why are you kids so late today, college got over hours ago..."

"Was just hanging out with Navya. Wait what do you mean by kids. It was only me, Mukti must be home..."

"Really, I didn't saw her coming home. Did that girl just slept over. Go check on your sister and call her down..."

I walked up to Mukti's room but she was nowhere there. I checked the whole house but there was no sign of Mukti. I tried calling her but no luck. Maybe she is with Aliya or others. Let me just text in the group.

My eyes fluttered open and the flashy lights just blinded me and forced me to close my eyelids again. Jesus, what the hell... I again tried opening them slowly this time. Where the hell am I? I looked around to find myself in some sort of a small room with nothing in sight. Not even a single piece of furniture or anything. It was completely bare. So I am kidnapped, wow just so fucking wow. One day everyone decide to leave me on my own and I chose that particular day to get kidnapped. Hilarious Mukti so fucking hilarious. 

"You are awake baby..." And I almost puked on the endearment coming from his mouth. I should have guessed this. I mean who else will go to this extent unless him. "Seriously Abhimanyu kidnapping? You have dropped down to this..."

"You forced me to, if only you could have talked to me willingly..."

"Talked to you? I made myself very clear that I do not want to associate myself with a monster like you..." I spat out. But okay Mukti being all this sassy with a powerful animal is not really a good idea, he can eat you up and there is no one to help.

"I know, I know I am in wrong to hid my real identity with you. But would you have fallen in love with me if you knew who I really was? I love you baby, try to understand why I did this..."

"Seriously Abhimanyu you want me to understand. I am a human and you are some animal, you shouldn't be associating yourself with me in the first place."

"You are not just an human, you are my chosen mate. Destiny chose your for me..."

"That's utter bullshit..."

"No it's not. Look Mukti you have to be on my side, either willingly or..."

And he left the sentence just like that. His eyes shined and I could hear animal growling behind this composure of a human. Am I going to die today? Without even saying a goodbye to my family, to my friends. "Relax  I am not going to kill you..."

I didn't know I was holding my breath until now. "Then why you brought me here?"

"I am the Alpha of my pack and you are my chosen mate, my future Luna. I need you to be on my side Mukti..." 

"No way in hell.. You want to kill me, go ahead but I would never accept you Abhimanyu..."

"You loved me before then why is it difficult for you now?"

"Because you are not the same person I fall for, you are this scary monster and I don't want to be with you so just give up and let me go..."

"You are such a hypocrite Mukti... Your lovely brother Manik is not way different. And I am sure there are more of his kind in your family. You can accept them not me?" He screamed making me quiver in fear...

"Because he is not a threat to my family unlike you..." 

"You really..." Before he could finish speaking a figure burst open from the door throwing Abhimanyu on the ground...

"Dad...." The tears which I was keeping at bay for so long finally popped out..

"How fucking dare you take my daughter you little shit..." My Dad growled and this was the first time I saw him in his Vampire form. It was scary to say the least but I was relieved I am not at the receiving end of it. Abhimanyu was shocked to see him like this but then his frown turned into an evil smirk... "So your own Dad is one of them..."

Dad clutched his neck and picked him up few feet from the ground, wow that's cool.. Not the time Mukti, not the time. "Shut up Punk, I have been around here for more years than you can imagine, so don't try to cross path with me. I can finish you in a snap of my finger..." 

"Then go ahead and do it, because if you leave me alive. I will not stop until I have Mukti..." The determination in his voice gave me the chills. "Put him down Abhay..." Manik and Cabir burst through the doors making me relieved. Cabir took me in a hug immediately while Manik forced Dad to leave him...

"I warned you Abhimanyu to stay away from my sister but you didn't listen. You have gone too far by kidnapping her. We are not going to quiet down after this..." 

"Then you shall not, cause I am not going to back down..." He sneered and Manik lunged for him, I was sure to finish him off, but I can't let that happen. I can't see Abhimanyu die. "Manik, leave him..." 

His eyes met mine but I averted them quickly. I dragged Manik from the elbow away from him. "Let's just leave guys, please let's just go...." 

"This is not over Abhimanyu, tell your tribe, the shit is about to go down..." And the thunder in Manik's voice confirmed one thing, people were going to die and we couldn't do a thing to stop this...
