30- FINALE NIGHT

So much happened tonight, Our win, Navya's accident which was planned by Harshad for me. I wonder how the others will react when they will get to know what Harshad was up to. I stopped Manik from doing anything for now, but I am not sure I will not be able to stop him again tomorrow. I am sure he will lose it the second he sees him.

I took a long shower to relax all the tension from today and when I came back I wasn't much surprised to find Manik there. Thank goodness I am fully clothed this time. "Took you long enough..." He kept the book aside whilst I climbed in his lap.

"Hmm.. I was thinking..."

"Thinking about what?" He wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me closer sniffing me. "You smell good..." I smiled at his compliment. "Thinking about whatever happened today, There is one question though, nagging in my head."

"Ask already..."

"Since Navya and I both have your blood in our body, will both of us turn into Vampires once we die?" I really wanted to know this. Did I jeopardize Navya's afterlife by forcing Manik to feed her blood? I am feeling so guilty now.

"Of course not."

"But that book..."

"Nandini, Normal human's blood cells change every 4 weeks, so after 4 weeks there will be no trace of my blood in her body. And for you 2 weeks have already gone, 2 left now. So, if you both manage to be alive till then, you both will be fine. Think you can do that?" He asked teasingly and I scoffed.

"I guess we can live till then..." He laid down on the bed, while I was settled on top of him. I have generated a habit of sleeping with him and when he isn't here, I do feel his absence. "Sleep Kitten, we have a long day tomorrow..." He placed a kiss on my head and I slept peacefully with a smile on my face and a heart full of a Monster's thoughts, My monster to be specific...

Manik snapped, making all of us shut up instantly. competition had already started, First to perform were Rowdies then Lyrical, then NH3 and we were last to perform. Since we knew the other 3 bands were super good, it was natural to be nervous.
