49 - My Brother and my Sister!

"Manik, where are you dragging me to..."

"Sshh, keep quiet..."

"Manik, what are you doing, everyone is home, they will look for us..."

"Can you shut up for few minutes, I beg of you..."

I huffed and let him drag us to the store room, wait store room? Why the hell are we here now but before I could voice out my question, he locked the room and pulled me  in a hug. "I missed you..." I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "You were with me for almost the whole day..." I flicked his forehead making him pout, he looks too cute when he do that aww my little 500 year old baby...

"We were with others, it isn't the same..." He is right, it was always risky to sneak out with everyone around but after Nandini's arrival it is getting more and more difficult. It is like that she was everywhere. Either clinging to Manik alone or tagging along with all of us. Today Dad and her went out to spend some quality time as siblings which was of course forced by Dad. Cause she was too reluctant to go and that increased our doubts more. If she would be real Nandini, she wouldn't miss to spend time with her brother unlike her who just want to hang out with our group.

"What are you thinking about?" Manik tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, his breath fanning on my face making me warm. "Just thinking how long it has been since we spent some quality time together..." I missed us, I missed our intimate moments and I don't want to seem as some whore but I do miss the sex. I mean come on, the guy is just too good in bed how could I resist. I looked at his inviting lips and without waiting further I pressed my lips to his, throwing my arms around his neck. He too responded wholeheartedly his lips moving along with mine, while his strong hands slid slowly down my body before resting against my lower back, holding me tightly to him. 

Our pace was fast and rushed, and we kissed with a frantic intensity, as though we were about to get caught. And with our luck the odds were likely. A growl erupted from Manik's throat when I tugged teasingly at his lower lip. Suddenly his hands were moving past my lower back, skimming over my backside and planting themselves firmly on the back of my thighs. Before I knew what he was doing, he hoisted me up and fearing I might fall back, I quickly wrapped my legs around his waist.

We broke apart for some air but soon after Manik's lips were on mine again and I lost myself to all the sensations that took over my body. I am not sure how long we kiss for and how long we could have gone kissing hiding in this tiny store room but that high pitch scream pulled us apart or it will be better to say, threw me on the ground. "What the fuck is even going on here..." Cabir barked looking at both of us. Manik looked flushed but bearing the pain by falling on this hard ground, I couldn't muster to seem ashamed at all...

"Ouch..."

"Are you Okay, I am sorry his sudden scream made me loose balance..." Manik picked me apologizing checking for any injuries while Cabir stood there looking shell shocked with what he has witnessed. "Both of you come to Nonu's room right now..." He left giving us one hard glare and we both sighed. I can't believe we are caught like this, it's going to be so difficult to make them all understand. "I am sorry. it's all my fault. I shouldn't have brought you here. Since Nandini came you are sleeping in Aliya's room. I can't even get to spend a night with you that made me desperate. Sorry Nonu..." 

"Stop apologizing, I was as desperate as you Mani and they had to know at some point. So, what if today is that day. Let's just deal with them..." I tangled my fingers with his and we both went towards my room. Oh Jesus please don't let them be so Mad please....

 Navya - What is it Cabir, why you ask all of us to gather here?

"Oh here they are, Manik and Nandini care to share with them what I saw in there, my eyes still burns by the way..." Tad dramatic Cabir. I looked at him who was glaring at both of us, well can't blame him nobody wants to see their little sister in that position especially with someone you call your brother.

Aliya - What's going on guys?

Mukti - Yeah and why are you clutching to Manik like your life depends on it? Did Cabir scold you?

Dhruv - What's wrong guys?

Okay this is it, we cannot prolong it any further. I took a deep breath and look over at Manik, who gave my hand a little squeeze and a little nod of his head telling me that it's time. "We both are kind of dating each other..." The silence which followed after word was so deadly that I almost felt none of them heard us, but they did.

And what felt like after ages Mukti spoke up, "Is it some kind of a Joke, are we suppose to laugh?" I jumped from one foot to another, the nervousness is killing me. Manik pulled me closer and their eyes turned as big as saucers on his little move. "I caught them sucking each other's faces in the store room so no Mukti this is not a joke..." Cabir again glared at us. Why the hell it has to be Cabir, Why can't it be any of the girls, it would be less torturous then. 

"Do you even realize he is your brother, no actually our Mom's brother, so you want to say you are dating your uncle?" I saw disappointment written all over Aliya's face. Well Can't blame her, I behave the same when I found out about her and Dhruv. "Well technically he is not any of yours relative cause he is dead you know?'' Oh I could kiss you right now Navya. A little smile stretched on my lips but seeing Cabir's murderous stance it goes away just like it came...

"Navya is right guys, Manik is no more blood related with any of you, he died like centuries ago. So if that was the only reason you wanted to oppose their relationship, then you all can stop criticizing them..." Dhruv another sweetheart in this group. I looked at the other three but none of my sibling looked convinced. This is going to be so much harder.

"Fine let's forget the being relative part, but Manik did you just choose her, cause she looks like your dead girlfriend whom you loved to death. If that's the reason then let me tell you our Nonu is not a replacement in any one's life..." I looked at Mukti to tell her she is wrong but Manik beat me to it...

"I know you all love her too much and I also know I just came in everyone's life just a year back so how difficult it is to trust me. But if only this face mattered to me, I would have gladly accepted the other women who is pretending to be my dead girlfriend, but  I didn't. What Nonu and I have is much deeper and meaningful. I will admit I came here just because of this face, but now what I feel for her is totally different. I have loved Nandini a little too much that her death shattered my whole existence but Nonu brought me back to life. Her existence make my world a happy place. She gave me music, she gave me best of friends, she gave a meaning to my life. So No Mukti, she is not anyone's replacement and can't ever be. Nobody can replace Nandini from my heart, she is always gonna be there, but Nonu has her own place in my heart, in my life..."

I am just at loss of words, Manik's confession made my heart flutter. All my insecurities, all my jealousy which I felt towards my aunt, real Nandini fled away just in seconds. I throw my hands on his torso and pulled him for a hug. 

Cabir - Fine I accept the dating part, but I will never accept this PDA...

Manik - Suck it up Cabir, I am enduring yours for a long time now.

Dhruv - Serves us right, we were blinding both of you with our PDA, I guess now is your time.

Aliya - No way I am gonna see both of them romancing in front of my eyes.

Mukti - I mean what are we suppose to say, our brother and our sister, yuck disgusting

Navya - Putting it up that way, it's gross...

Nonu - Do we look like we care?

Manik - Naah!!

And just like that we both were tackled to the ground getting our ass whopped for keeping this a secret for this long but thankfully they accepted us and I hope our parents do the same...

There are so less votes and then you guys say I don't update, I don't get the enthusiasm to write when there are so less votes. But I have begged a lot, I will just finish the story as soon as possible.. I don't want to disappoint those who are actually reading...
