POV: Isaac
I wake up back in my own bed. Theo again sitting besides me.
He was waiting for me to wake up. It looks like from now on this is gonna be our routine.
I go to Neverland, I wake up, Theo is waiting for me to explain everything that happened.
While I tell Theo everything like always.
I start to notice that he takes heavier breaths than usually.
"Theo are you okay?"
"Yeah, I just have a bacteria. but when I called the doctor, he said it would go away out of itself soon.
"Why are you just telling me now about this?"
"Neverland was more important, we haven't really talking about anything else."
The more I think about the more I realize he is right. Whenever I'm here, with Theo the only thing we talk about is Neverland.
Theo has this excited facial expression whenever I talk to him about Neverland.
His love for Fairytales goes further than I'll ever be able to understand.
He also says he loves talking about it, but we talk about it every single time. So much I didn't even know my best friend was in pain.
Theo assures me everything is fine and that it isn't very painful.
Theo suddenly says excitedly
"Oh wait there is something you have to know"
Whatever it is, I'm ready for it. My past days have been so messed up I don't think I'll be able to be surprised anymore
"Peter pan is 425 years old right now."
My jaw dropped. A part of me doesn't believe it but I also know Theo wouldn't ever lie.
Theo gives me a serious look and says
"The oldest lost boy is somewhere in the 300 years old, according to what I have read his name was Jerry".
It all makes sense but still. The information is messing with my mind. But I don't get enough time to think about it.
Theo starts to brag about how he found out about this, apparently he joined a forum for fairytale believers. He talked to an anonymous guy that said he knew about everything. He claimed to have gone to Neverland.
Ever since this morning Theo won't shut up about him. His name is Noah and Theo became obsessed with him.
It's Noah this, Noah that.
I'm almost starting to get jealous of this Noah guy. I watch Theo scroll down the forum while a new message of Noah shows up.
"Hey, if you wanna know more we can meet up?"
Theo his eyes start to sparkle and he turns to me. "We can meet him right?! It would be so cool!"
I laugh "sure" I watch Theo happily respond back.
"But Theo" I say seriously "we have to be careful, we have no idea who this guy is"
Theo rolls his eyes at me but he agrees.
I doubt someone who's hobby is fairytales can be very dangerous but you never know.
Noah doesn't exactly live very close. But if he actually has gone to Neverland too than this could be worth the travel money.
We take the train and after 4 hours of traveling we end up at the train station where we are supposed to meet Noah.
We wait for a while and watch the clock tick away. I start to lose hope but Theo seems to carry enough hope for the both of us.
Even tho we have been waiting for him for a half hour already, Theo doesn't seem to give up any time soon.
A boy starts to walk into our direction.
But he isn't our age. Theo is just as surprised as I am when he introduces himself.
"Hi, I'm Noah"
I guess his age is around 8 years old.
I have to hold in my laughter. I expected a lot but not an actually child. Theo on the other hand is filled with enthusiasm.
I watch him go off on Noah with a bunch of questions. Noah seems to match his energy as he does the same.
Theo asks "how long have you been going to neverland?"
Noah smiles proudly and says "5 times"
"That's so cool!" Theo yells
I quietly watch Them discuss various things.
They talk about everything. Even tho I could be talking with them, I don't.
This is Theo's moment.
The longer I look at Noah the more I realize that I have seen him in Neverland. He was one of the guys that had to stay on land when we went to free Devin.
Kinda makes sense since he is a 8 year old.
I make the time pass by while playing games on my phone as I listen to Theo and Noah.
Noah says "We should go together sometime!"
I watch Theo look down and say "actually, I can't go. I tried but I can't"
"Oh" Noah says "you never even been there before?"
"Well" Theo sigh "not exactly, no"
"Hm" Noah stays quiet
But Theo breaks the silence by asking "are we still friends?"
Noah starts to chuckle "of course! I'll just tell you everything about it!"
It starts to get dark and I tell Theo that we really have to go home now.
Noah and Theo say goodbye as Noah promises to text Theo the next morning.
