POV: Peter Pan
As we walk back to the camp I try to think of what to do next.
I'm sick of Wendy, Jerry and Devin.
But somehow Isaac just gets it. He is the only that gets me.
I hope he will understand it when he sees the lifeless body of Jerry.
I need to make sure Devin will never tell anyone that he did it because of me. Because I threatened his life. Yeah that wouldn't make me look good anymore.
We see almost everyone Bowing their heads over something.
Okay, this is it.
I try to think of how I'm gonna handle this situation but for the first time I'm clueless.
We walk into the crowd and find Wendy.
She is dead.
She is poisoned.
My eyes meet Jerry who is still very much alive.
The look on his face immediately shows that he has no idea what's going on.
He immediately causes a scene by grabbing me by my shirt, pulling me into the air and yelling
"You did this! You jealous son of a bitch!"
I twist his arm, making him letting me go.
The anger is raging inside of me how could Jerry ever think I would hurt her.
I yell
"I loved her too! You know that! I wouldn't ever hurt her!"
I look around the crowd to find Devin.
Everyone is talking with each other and I quickly drag Devin away from the others and pin him against a three.
I yell
"what have you done?!"
His eyes start to tear up
"I put the potion in his drink! But Wendy took the glass out of his hands and drunk it instead! I couldn't stop her!"
I punch him. And again. And again
"P-please stop, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!!"
But I don't stop.
Devin makes himself small while covering his head with his hands.
I finally stop and make him look at me.
I look at him and say
"You are gonna tell them you are the one that killed Wendy"
I watch him break down and yell
"They will kill me!"
I hiss "if you don't do what I want than I'll kill you here right now by myself"
I press a knife against Devins throat and say "you know I don't play games, if you ever think about telling them the truth than your destiny will be far worse than death"
He nods. Good.
"Go" I command.
I watch him walk back to the group.
Yeah, he is a dead man.
I close my eyes and try to grieve for a moment.
But I don't get much time.
I look back at the group and notice immediately that they all have heard the news.
Devin told them.
Jerry tells his friends to hunt Devin down while he runs away.
This was all not supposed to go like this.
