Chapter 50

POV: Peter Pan

I walk together with hook to the cells.
I can't help but feel a bit guilty. But Felix is strong. He can handle it. I'll come back for him eventually.

"Peter?"

Corbin looks at me shocked when hook opens his cell door.

I softly press my hand against his back, leading him out of this place. Corbin seems to be uncomfortable but doesn't move away from me. He wants to get out of here as much as I do.

"Hey!" I turn back to hook who is leaning against the cell door. "Where do I know you from"

I can feel the anxiety going through Corbin's spine but he remains calm as he says
"I never met you before"
Impressive.

We walk away from the ship. I catch a glimpse of Felix's knocked out body being dragged across the ship.

We walk in silence for a couple minutes before Corbin stands still and finally asks the question that has been on his mind the entire time.

"Did Felix tell you"

I gesture to him to sit down.
"He did"

We sit across from each other on a rock.
Both wanting to talk but no words coming out.

I notice he starts to tremble.
I patiently wait for him to talk.

"I'm not a girl"

"Felix told-"

"I'm not"

I sigh. "Okay"

I notice his eyes start to tear up as he speaks.
"I might have the body.. but.. it's hard to explain. I just don't feel like I'm different than any other boy here. My body feels wrong, like it's not supposed to be mine."

"You feel like you weren't meant to be a girl?"

"Y-yeah" I watch him wipe his tears away. "Exactly"

"Alright" I stand up. Reaching out my hand to
Corbin "nobody is gonna believe you tho"

"I know." Corbin puts his head in his hands.
"That's why i helped Leroy get away. He was gonna confess the truth to everyone. Even a death by pirates seemed better than having all my friends turn against me and never seeing me the same anymore"

I look down on Corbin. I don't get it.
It seems dramatic.
"Well" I clear my voice. "You need to tell the truth to the others. I'm pretty sure it won't be as bad as you think"

Corbin chuckles. "Really?"
"So are you also gonna tell everyone that Isaac fucks you?"

"How-" I stop myself when I see the look on Corbin's face. Can't believe I fell for that trap.

He starts laughing "Wow seriously? Never thought the king of Neverland would be a bottom"

I grab Corbin by his shirt while forcing him to face me. "Fine I won't tell anyone. Just know I do this for your own best will. If people find out from someone else and not from you it might be you hanging on the noose."

This shuts Corbin up.
I might not understand him. But I believe him.
I know if he was a girl he wouldn't be able to set a foot in Neverland.

"Peter?"

Annoyedly I face him.
I notice his cheeks are flustered and his confidence has faded away.

"Can you help me tell the others?"

I smile. "Of course"

We walk back to the camp in silence.
