Chapter 21

POV: Isaac

We are sitting on the Eiffel Tower eating ice cream. For the past hours Theo has been smiling like crazy. His dream came true.

Theo grabs his phone wanting to take a picture of us.
But the moment the phone makes a flash.
Peter takes a step back and asks "what the hell is that?"

Me and Theo look at each other and laugh.
Theo starts explaining to Peter what a phone is.

Right now I'm laying down looking at the bright stars in the sky while Theo shows Peter snap chat filters for the first time.

I get kinda jealous about Theo getting all Peter his attention but the feeling soon changes into guilt.

I shouldn't think of myself right the next couple of days everything should be about Theo.

I want him to have the best last days of his life. I close my eyes while I listen to Theo enthusiastically explain every app on his phone to Peter while Peter listens to him patiently.

"This is call of duty" Theo says while pointing at the app on his phone. "You can shoot people and work in a team and use various weapons"

Peter smirks and says "that sounds stupid, why don't you just actually kill someone instead on a screen."

Theo his eyes widen. "Wait? Isn't that illegal in Neverland?"

"No of course not, There are no rules in Neverland"

"That's so cool!!! If you kill anyone here you will go to prison for the rest of you life! You will be locked up forever."

"That seems no fun, than what you do for fun around here?"

"We play games!" Theo shows his phone to Peter "Like these!"

Peter raises his eyebrow and says "let's have some real fun, alright?" Peter smiles at Theo while Theo his eyes light up.

Peter helps Theo stand up.
I open my eyes a little bit. I can't help my curiosity.

Peter grabs Theo his hands and says "do you trust me?"

Theo roles his eyes at Peter and says excitingly "of course you are Peter Pan!"

Peter looks at me. I got caught.
But he ignores me.

Peter asks Theo to hold him tightly while he lets Theo hang from the edge of the Eiffel Tower.

"Let me go" Peter says.

Theo has the same expression on his face as the one I had when I was in a similar situation with Peter in Neverland.

Theo seems to hesitate but still ends up closing his eyes and let's go of Peter.

I watch Theo fall. Even tho I know Peter is about to catch him I still feel anxious about it.

I hate the feeling. I have always been kinda protective over Theo but knowing these days are his lasts ones the feeling has only gotten worse.

I watch Peter jump after Theo and catch him before Theo hits the ground. Just like with me.
Damn it. I feel jealous.

I know it's not fair but I thought it was a special thing, you know. Between me and Peter. But maybe he does it with everyone. It was foolish to think it meant anything.

Peter flies back up with Theo in his arms while Theo yells "that was amazing!!!! Again! Again!"

Peter laughs and says
"See? This is how you are having fun. It has to be dangerous to be fun"

Theo suddenly holds into Peter like he is a teddy bear and cuddles against him.

I know Theo is very affectionate and clingy but Peter doesn't know that and he is completely in shock by Theo his sudden actions.

It's quite funny seeing Peter panicking while Theo uses him as a pillow. Peter looks at me while lip syncing the word ,,help,,

I can't help but chuckle. I look back at Peter. He signs at me to sit next to him. I awkwardly do what he asks and sit next to him.

Theo suddenly reaches out his hand making my body being pushed against Peter. And giving us no escape.

I smile a bit knowing that Theo did it on purpose. I look at Peter who is now way too close to me. He doesn't say anything, not wanting to wake up Theo.

He puts his arm around me and pulls me even more close to him, making me lay on his shoulder. I won't lie It feels nice.

I look up at him and notice his chin to have hair. He is growing a beard. I'm very sure that's a new thing.

I whisper to Peter about it. Peter looks away from me for a moment than says "I can't stay here for much longer, I have to go back to Neverland. I'll start aging in this land. And if I start to become an adult and not a kid anymore than I won't be welcome in Neverland."

Peter teleports his way out of Theo his grip and stands on the edge of the Eiffel Tower.
I stand up and stand next to him.

"thank you for today, really. You have no clue how happy you made Theo"

"I hope I made you happy too"

"Yeah you did, but we both know you did this for Theo, I don't know why but-"

"I used to have someone in my life who I cared about a lot, but I didn't get the chance to even properly say goodbye. That's why what you and Theo are going through is important to me."

"Oh, I'm sorry you had-"

"It's fine, now. Be with your friend alright? He needs you."

Peter teleports us back to my house.
I lay Theo in my bed while Peter walks up to my window.

He climbs out of it as he smiles at me while he flies back up in the sky.
Back to Neverland.
