Chapter 49

POV: Felix

"Peter?"

"What?" He barely looks at me as he rushes back to the camp.

I'm almost scared to say anything. He didn't kill me for hiding something for more than 200 years.
Doesn't mean he isn't going to make me pay for it later on.

"What happened to the fairies?"

I'm almost as shocked by the words coming out of my mouth as Peter is.
I didn't think I would dare to ask him anything after what happened."

"That's a story for a different time. We have now other things to deal with. We have to find Corbin and leroy and find out the truth."

Too late I realize where Peter is taking me.
We reach the pirate cove.

Peter must have assumed Leroy must have gone here if he wanted to get off the island.

I walk behind Peter into the pirate territory.
"Peter" I say quietly "you should think about this first! You are walking into our biggest enemy's base without a plan"

He raises an eyebrow on me.
"Oh but I have a plan"

"Really?" I say shocked by his calm attitude.

"Yes of course find out the truth"

I notice pirates starting to close us in.

If Peter wants to walk into hell than I'll follow him.

I hold up my chin and follow after him to captain hooks cabin.

Peter almost slams the door open ignoring the pirates behind him.
"You?!" Peter yells loudly.

I don't understand his shock until my eyes find Leroy who is sitting on captain hooks chair.

"Surprised?" He says with a bright smile.

I wait for Peter to do whatever he was planning to do but he stays standing still, speechless.

"Peter" I whisper before the pirates grab me and push me down onto the floor.

Leroy opens his mouth to speak but than a loud yell goes through the ship.

"Leroy?!"

Captain Hook walks into his cabin, eyes widen the moment he notices what's going on.

Leroy doesn't seem to be bothered.
"What?" He says daringly. "You failed to catch Peter Pan and I lead him all the way into your cabin for you."

I was gonna expect a loud cheering noise or a congratulations, seeing the look on Peters face he assumed the same thing.

"Are you out of your fucking mind?!" Hook yells as he pulls Leroy out of the chair, holding him up in the air by his shirt.

Leroy manages to say while gasping for air.
"W-what?"

"Pan is mine to catch, not yours. What is the fun in playing cat and mouse when the mouse just walks to you?"

Leroy's shock turned into rage as he yells back
"It's all a damn game to you?! What about the assignments you gave me. And the secret meet ups?!"

Till my surprise hook starts laughing.
"Leroy you always been so innocent. I made it up so you wouldn't constantly bother me. It kept you away from me for months. Finally some peach"

I watch leroy's heart shatter into pieces as he fails to talk and stares blankly to the wall.

Unlike me, Peter doesn't seem to see pity in this situation. He burst out in laughter.

"I would like to listen to you guys bickering but we have some business to discuss"'

Hook pushes Leroy out of his way as he sits back down in his chair "do tell"

Leroy doesn't seem to know what to do with himself and stands next to hook like a lifeless doll.

"You have one of my boys and I want him back."'

Hook smirks "a personal rescue mission by Peter? Wow he must be really special"

Leroy says without making eye contact with any of us. "I threw him into one of the cells"

My eyes meet Leroy's and I give him a small nod.
Hoping him to also realize if he brought up the truth it would make things worse for him too.

"What do you want for him in return"

Hooks eyes light up as a grimace appears on his face.
"I want Felix. An person for a person."

I hold my breath as I notice Peter is actually thinking about the offer.
I know he wants Corbin back more than anything but he wouldn't ever sacrifice me for it. Right?

"Okay you can have him"

When those words left his mouth the last thing I saw was a gesture of hook pointing at me and giving a command to knock me out.

Than everything turns black.
