TEN : Shared Lunch

"I should go now, Yoongi-ssi." Hoseok smiled at his nurse after he looked up from his wrist watch to check the time.

They just finished breakfast and the table is fairly awkward between the three of them because there's a lot of tension going on with the brothers.

It was still a good breakfast, nonetheless. Yoongi cooked stir fried rice and simmered fish in sweet and sour sauce.

The pain from his stomach did not go away though but instead; it felt so much worse. However, he couldn't bring himself to complain about it or at least inform Yoongi because the man still has his own issue with his brother that needs to be resolved.

This stomach pain can wait or if not, he will have to deal with this alone by going to Doctor Kim himself.

"Are we in a rush? Your meeting is not due until later, you can still wait for me while I get ready, sir." Yoongi said, picking up the dish from the dining table and placing it in the sink.

Hoseok shook his head and said, "No, no I'll go there by myself. Just take a day off first because I can see how tired you are and perhaps, you still need to enroll Jungkook in his new college, right?"

Yoongi realized his boss has a point but no, he will not let that happen. Patients before anything! The enrollment may take place now, tomorrow, or any other day. Or if not, he wants to make sure his boss will be just fine.

"Are you sure, sir?" Yoongi pouts, this is hard decision for him to let go.

"Yes, Yoongi I'm not a baby. I can handle myself." The male answered.

He's sure he can, even if his stomach is aching crazy. He can.

The nurse sighs, "Okay, but before you go I will need to check on your blood pressure first. Doctor Kim said to report to him immediately if it goes higher than normal." He said, rushing to his room to take his sphygmomanometer.

When Yoongi disappeared from Hoseok's field of view, he turns his attention to Jungkook, who was just standing there watching the two of them with a confused face.

"Shh." Hoseok said mischievously while his pointer fingers were pressed against his puckered lips. He then slowly opened the door and left their apartment by himself.

"Wait are you my hyung's boyfriend-" Jungkook's query was cut off with Hoseok immediately dashing out of the place followed by a door loudly slamming close.

Hoseok laughed and ran through the halls and down to the flight of stairs, almost forgetting about the menacing pain in his stomach just because he felt his blood rush through his body due to the thrill of leaving Yoongi without him knowing.

"What was that noise?" Yoongi asked as he exited his bedroom with the blood pressure monitor in his hand.

.. And then he saw the empty space Hoseok was seen standing on just seconds ago.

With his face paler than before and his nose flaring as if there were smoke puffing out of it, he turned to Jungkook who was staring dumbfounded at the shut door.

"WHY'D YOU LET HIM ESCAPE!?" Yoongi screamed.

Hoseok found himself smiling everytime the thought of Yoongi come across his mind, especially the little escape he pulled off awhile ago and the nurse texting him with his angry emojis.
