December 24-25, Christmas

Hoseok

Hoseok doesn't see the significance of Christmas since he's not a Christian, or more accurately, he's non-religious, so he doesn't find it himself to get ready for this special holiday since it will be of no use.

He therefore just stayed inside his not-so-cozy-now bed, wondering what his little nurse is doing at this time.

He's longing for him, he forgot how lonely he really was now that Yoongi's not with him.

Hoseok wonders if Yoongi were to spend Christmas here would Hoseok celebrate it too? Even if he never in his life actually recognize this holiday?

Oh, of course he will. He is willing to go above and beyond for Yoongi. He would probably even buy him gifts, do that little Christmas culture Yoongi and his family did back in Daegu.

Late on what they called "Christmas Eve," (11 PM), Hoseok was browsing through his phone when he came across a photo of Yoongi and his family on Instagram.

There's so many of them.

Hoseok laughed himself in delight, swiping left to see the series of photos Yoongi posted in one Instagram post, every single one of it not failing for Hoseok to swoon at how lovely and happy he looks.

As the male scrolled through Instagram further, he found that it was only Yoongi's posts that filled it with but he wasn't complaining, he loved seeing the male's random sentimental picture he took either of him or his family members.

Hoseok wonders that if the circumstances were different, will he meet them? Is he still even spending his Christmas days in the depths of his room like a lonely dumbass, scrolling through Instagram and cooing at how precious the male he's in love with tonight, rather than going home with him in Daegu?

If only he wasn't a coward, he would've asked Yoongi to be his.

As Hoseok finished laughing lightly at a video of Yoongi's younger brother, Jungkook, playing stop dance with a clown wig on. He swiped left again, his heart immediately dropping because of regret from doing that very action.

It was a picture of Yoongi and Taehyung.

"What the fuck?" Hoseok's voice cracked when he whispered those words to himself.

He furiously swiped left through the post again, seeing a picture of a gold necklace with a shiny little tangerine pendant and a cat stuffed toy.

and countless of pics of him and Taehyung.

Hoseok's eyes then fled to the caption of the picture when tears started to reach the brim of his eyelids.

Thank you for your gift, Taehyung-ah. Hyung appreciated it ❤️

That motherfucker went to Daegu with him?

Hoseok's scrolling ended there, he gave up, though there are still upcoming posts from Yoongi below news feed he still wanted to see, he doesn't fucking care. He doesn't want to see Yoongi having fun with Taehyung.
