Cold hands balled itself into a fist to knock on a certain apartment's tall oak door, every knock turned louder as seconds goes by, hoping that the person on the other side of it will answer.

"Who is it?" A deep voice suddenly played from inside of the apartment, making the intrusive sound of the other's knocking come to a halt.

"Yoongi." The male from the outside answered.

Finally, the door swung open, revealing the very person Yoongi came for : Taehyung. Kim Taehyung.

Tears bursted from Yoongi's eyes as he saw Taehyung's confused, sleepy ones. He didn't waste any time, because the second he saw Taehyung, his lips are already planted on his, kissing him feverishly, practically giving him his all.

Taehyung although taken aback and did not expect for the older to come knocking on his apartment at this hour-welcomed the kiss, he pulled the smaller male closer, breathing heavily as he missed this feeling. He'll never let Yoongi go again.

"Where were you last night?" Hoseok asked the second he saw Yoongi enter the kitchen, trying his best to make it seem like he wasn't that concerned with his whereabouts.

When in reality, he spent his night with only Yoongi occupying his mind. Actually no, everyday, he thinks about Yoongi. Which is why he came to a decision that what he did last night is for the best for the both of them.

Hoseok prepared himself everyday. Little by little he distanced from him just so when the time comes, it will hurt less, and it worked. Or so, that's what he convinces himself to feel.

He knows that's far from the truth. He's hurting, he knows it hurts more than the tumor in his body slowly killing his vital organs.

Yoongi's absence this morning prevented Hoseok from having the appetite to eat a proper meal. It was a drastic change in his routine that revolves around Yoongi only, that's why he found it hard to move without the other around.

Usually, the nurse is the first person Hoseok sees when he wakes up. He will eat breakfast with him and Jungkook, always. And if Yoongi will take some time before he eats breakfast, Hoseok will wait for him because he had to eat with him.

And that's what goes on everyday. It is an important part of their everyday routine and Hoseok seemed like he forgot that breaking up with Yoongi will have this underlying sudden change of his surroundings.

But, he can manage. This will all fade away.

He knows it will.

"Didn't Jungkook tell you? I spent the night with Taehyung." Yoongi responded to his boss's query. He said it so cunningly that it appeared as though he was trying to mess with Hoseok's head or something.

And that.. That indeed drove Hoseok crazy.

Hoseok didn't expect Yoongi would bite on the trap that fast.

But then again, he was the one who pushed him away, so why would he care?

"I-I see." Hoseok nodded in fake understanding, mentally face palming because he literally just stuttered.

"You look like you had fun." He remarked as a facade to the pain he's feeling as of the moment. By asking this, maybe Yoongi will think he's unbothered.

Oh, was he wrong.

One thing Hoseok couldn't control is his expressive facial features and Yoongi knows him too well he can read him without a second thought. And that stutter was obviously from jealousy.

As Yoongi was drinking his glass of water, he couldn't help the smirk making its way on his face.

"Mhm, so much fun." Yoongi stated as he finished his drink, setting it down on the counter.

He then turned to leave the kitchen, the lie he told Hoseok tucked in his clutches, knowing damn well the night he had with Taehyung is far from the fun he tried to portray it as.

"Y-You're crying?"

Yoongi's on all fours, hips raised into the air with Taehyung thrusting into his hole like there's no tomorrow, the said male grunting about how much he missed doing fucking him.

Until those amount of pleasuring thrusts stopped when Taehyung heard yet another sniffle. He's been hearing it ever since he had Yoongi in this position, but right now, he just couldn't put himself to ignore it.

"Oh god, you are crying!" Taehyung panicked as he held the smaller male, manhandling him so he could now lay on his back.

As soon as the light of the night lamp shone on Yoongi's face, he covered it with his hands in embarrassment, cheeks getting pinker as he whined.

"What happened? Did I hurt you? Was I doing too much?" Taehyung peers, knowing damn well the tears he's having weren't caused by the sex. I mean, he never cried during sex, why would he cry right now?

"Did I tell you to stop?" Yoongi annoyedly asked as he tried to push the younger off his chest, completely disregarding the fact that Taehyung stopped because he's full on crying.

Taehyung without a word pulled the covers over Yoongi's exposed body, cuddling him close, as he let the latter cry until the sadness is gone, until he will finally open up to the reason why he's crying.

"I came here to have a good time, Taehyung. The least you could do is make me feel exactly that. Last time I remembered you are better than this." The older rolled his eyes sarcastically, burying his head into the crook of Taehyung's neck.

"I wanted to make you feel good too but clearly it wasn't working," The latter answered, embracing Yoongi, "So will you tell me why you were crying?"

"I felt guilty, sorry." Yoongi answered, laughing through his tears as he tried wiping it off, "I remembered the time when we kind of had a thing and I ended up rejecting you because I don't see you like how you see me."

Taehyung nodded, brushing the bangs that were sticking on Yoongi's forehead backwards with his fingers as he listened.

"And just awhile ago, the same thing happened to me. He's the first person I've loved after years that's why I cared for him so much, even though how he's been treating me lately hurted." Yoongi remarked, chewing on his lips to surpress the tears wanting to exit his eyes again at the mere mention of him, Hoseok.

"I thought I made it clear for him that I will be with him 'til the end of everything, and I was a fool for thinking that he cared enough to be with me at the end too," He said and this time, he was full on crying again.

It is indeed true that all happy moments has sadness as its equivalent. No wonder he was too happy when Hoseok came into his life. If only Yoongi knew that Hoseok will be the one who will break him at the end, he would've stuck onto his principles and didn't gave him the full control of changing it.

It felt good to have someone to tell all your problems to. Gladly, Taehyung was there with him throughout all of it. Taehyung made him feel safe and loved last night when he's in his most vulnerable state.

Yoongi and Taehyung ended up just talking the whole night. No more sex and no more kissing. But Yoongi came back to Hoseok's house as if that's exactly what happened.

In hopes to make him jealous and in that way, Hoseok will take him back.

Yeah, that's how petty this was and Taehyung was the one who came up with the idea.

Even though he still loves Yoongi, he hated seeing him being ruined by a person who loved him first.

Hoseok, though. When Yoongi left, he felt his heart ache, as if the strings that were supporting it and keeping it in place was slowly losing its grip.

But he will not regret this, this is the best for the both of them. Or if not for him, atleast, it's the best for Yoongi.

After all, what Hoseok wishes was for Yoongi to still have his gorgeous smile after the day he dies.
