"No." Yoongi answered nonchalantly as he steps down the bed.
"Don't be stubborn, Yoongi."
"I don't want to be a burden to you, Hope." Yoongi sighs, "I can't believe you skipped your meeting with the board members just to wait for me. This is all my fault and I'm already guilty enough, so no, I won't take your offer."
"I'm concerned for you, I know your struggles and I just want to help as a.. friend." Hoseok said. That last word was hard for him to choke out, he doesn't know why.
"Stop– stop insisting." The nurse is now getting annoyed as he whisper yelled. His pride is too high, he doesn't want someone to dictate him.
"I'm sorry." The other male mutters as he noticed the grimace in Yoongi's face.
"I just don't want this to happen again and I know I'm responsible that this happened to you. I'm sorry, but I'm going to make you choose." The boss stated, Yoongi gave him his entire attention, he's intrigued as to what he's going to say.
"It's either you quit your job at the hospital or you'll quit your job as my nurse. You can't do full shifts everyday, look how much it drained you." He remarked.
Yoongi raised a brow. Who is he to dictate how he'll live his life and decide how many freakin works he's going to take everyday.
"What?" Yoongi's getting pissed off, "you know I love my job, right?"
Hoseok didn't choose to answer that because he knows how passionate Yoongi is in working, but this is also a hard decision for him to make, knowing Yoongi will rather choose his job at the hospital.
"I already told you, this is unhealthy for you. I'm the one who is sick and my nurse should be healthier than me. How are we going to work if you're going to pass out on me again?" He chuckles, trying to relieve some of the piss he gave his nurse.
The aforementioned hates the fact that Hoseok's right. Yoongi knows this is unhealthy.
"That's why I'm inviting you to come live with me so you won't have to worry about anything. You can quit your job and focus your expenses for Jungkook's tuition, nothing more."
And this, this is the time where Hoseok is starting to make some incredible points. But that just made Yoongi's blood boil. He has his pride and dignity and he will not let some rich businessman tell him what to do.
Then again, if he takes the offer, he can save up for medical school alot faster since he can no longer think about paying for rent. There are more pros than cons if he quits his job at the hospital.
One of those cons is he is no longer able to take care of the hospital patients which is what he always wanted, that's the reason why he took medicine.
"Y-You can go now." Yoongi said, eyes glued to the ground as he sat back on the hospital bed. He wants to ignore what Hoseok is saying, for now. Everything is all of a sudden for him to process quickly.
Hoseok's smiling face faltered and his brows furrowed in confusion, "What?" He asked, disappointment evident in his voice.
"I don't think I can do what you want me to do, sir." Yoongi shook his head, he's still avoiding eye contact with the boss.
This is the time where Hoseok is thoroughly convinced that he had grown to hate the word "sir" especially when Yoongi is the one who's saying it.
Just when Hoseok thought they're now in the process of forming a deeper bond. He kind of regrets that he told those words to the male, he must've offended him.
Does this mean Yoongi's no longer his nurse? Is he quitting? Just like that?
But no, he can never let Yoongi go. Never. He needs him.
