TWENTY FIVE : December Snow

"Are you okay?" Yoongi asked Hoseok who remained silent in his bed.

Two days ago, they came back in their house and Hoseok still wouldn't speak to him. The person he only speaks to was Jungkook and not a single word was directed for Yoongi.

Yoongi can't say he's avoiding because the male still looks in his direction, still smiles at him and does what he directs him to do.

And it bothers him that Hoseok can still accomplish all of that without having to speak with Yoongi.

Yoongi isn't fed up, no. It will take him a long time to be fed up when it comes to Hoseok but right now, he was just worried. He was only worried as to why the man was purposefully avoiding him.

It must've been something he has done, wasn't it?

After the nurse asked Hoseok what was wrong, he simply turned to his side, away from the sight of him where he cannot see his face.

Yoongi went to place a nudging hand on Hoseok's hip, just to tell him that he will not leave unless he tells him what's been going on in his mind.

Hoseok touched Yoongi's hand that was placed on his hips and without turning around to face him, he said, "I'll tell you about it soon."

But despite all of that, the latter never told him what's wrong. Which is why those words of his brought more confusion for Yoongi. It confused him more than he was the past few days.

Countless days have passed, none.

It's been a long time ever since they've hugged and kissed. Even talked. Yoongi wonders if Hoseok missed it the same way he does.

Despite all the confusion Hoseok brought upon Yoongi he will be patient enough to wait for him until they can finally talk about what's going on with him.

Or that's what both of them thought.

Yoongi liked to believe the notion that Hoseok is merely adjusting to the sudden shifts in his emotional state. He is aware of how significantly the news affected their life.

But it's now December 1. Seoul's second snow of the year has already started. Along with that came the coldness Yoongi felt in his heart, Hoseok got way colder than he already was.

Right now Yoongi is certain that Hoseok is ignoring him intentionally. He's been avoiding Yoongi's whole existence whenever he's in the same room as him.

He wouldn't look at Yoongi's direction anymore. He wouldn't smile anymore.

That's why Yoongi stopped trying to communicate with him. He doesn't want to hurt himself even more. Because everytime he does, he gets reminded that Hoseok doesn't want to do anything with him.

"Can we please talk?" It's the first time in awhile Yoongi decided to directly talk to his boss and he's preparing himself to get ignored again.

"Close the door and come here." Hoseok commanded, sighing as he sat up from his bed, his feet dangling at the edge of it.

Yoongi, who was standing by the door frame gave an obeying bow before shutting the door behind him and entering the room.

"What happened to us? Ever since we got home from the hospital you just stopped talking to me." Yoongi spoke as soon as he stood in front of the younger, his voice cracking almost immediately.
