Kiana Pov

"Rapheal" I whispered reaching over to the side of the bed he was last laid at " Raph" I shouted a little louder as I swung my legs off the bed.

I walked out of the room and back into the living room, he was nowhere to be seen. I picked my phone from the table to see hundreds of phone calls and messages from Alec and Jace. I even had a few from Clary, which is funny considering I never gave her my number.

Rapheal came bursting through the door and slammed it behind him in a rage "your stupid little boyfriend is here casuing havoc Kiana" he shouted, I jumped back and covered my body with my arms.

"oh shit, Amore I'm sorry" Rapha said rushing over to me "he just makes my blood boil" he said through gritted teeth, "I hate the way he treats you, he is gonna throw you under the bus and feed you to the ugly idris dogs".

"I know, I know Raph" I said softly placing my hand on his cheek, I needed him calm when he went down to see Alec.

"You have to convince him, I'm not here Rapheal to make it believable, he's already told his mother" I said to Raph holding my phone in front of his face to show the multiple phone calls from Clave officials.

"If i go back Raph, you won't see me again, I'll be sent to Idris, to the iron sisters then god only knows where" I said my voice panic I could feel the tears prick my eyes and my body shaking.

There's stories of what happens to shadowhunters with 'special gifts', I had a friend when i was little her name was Irina she could do weird things I can't quite remember but one day when we woke in the institute and she was dead, hanging from her bed frame on the same day she was due to go o Idris for investigation. Coincident.

"Kiana you're not going anywhere" he paused. "I won't let them take you anywhere" he kissed my forehead.

The alarms started to sound meaning Alec and the others were trying to get in "go Rapheal" I said as he sped off towards the exit of the hotel.

Raphael POV

"Shadowhunters" I said now standing behind them with a few of the other vampires "I know she's here Rapheal, she needs to come home" I laughed "what makes you think she'd be here pretty boy".

"Come off it, Rapheal this is the only place she'd go she's obsessed with you" Clary chimed in with her high pitched squeaky voice.

ALec threw her a disapproving look but Clary shook it off. "I know okay, I know she's here just tell her to come down and talk to me" he said now angry "Back off, she's not here" i said matching his tone and stepping forward.

Alec pulled his bow from his back , the vampires bared the fangs "back off he said Alec" Kiana said standing by the door.

He lowered his bow and walked towards her. I ran fast and stood behind her, if he made a single move she didn't want.

"Why did you leave? I was getting help" he said " you were signing my death warrant Alec, you're too blind to see that, you think what happened to my eyes is normal '' Kiana said raising her voice towards the end.

"My mother thinks--:" he started to speak but Kiana cut him off "your mother Alec, never liked me from the start, what a perfect way to get rid of me, ship me to Idris and kill me off, or worse dangle me from the bed until i choke to death just like Irina"

"Kiana how could you even suggest something so--" Alec said but again was cut off " how could I?" Kiana paused I could see her body tensing "How could you Alec, how could you really believe Irina would do that to herself she was 16 and happy she had you to love us a her friends, but ten it happened her eyes changed her skin she was crazy and instead of helping her they killed her, the same day she was set to go to idris she was found coincidence" she spoke tears in her eyes.

"You loved her Alec, you knew her better than anyone how could you of all people think she would do that to herself, she would never" she said the last part through gritted teeth.

"I didn't believe it " Jace spoke up from behind Alec, I looked up the post mortem, I was grieving and in denial" Jace froze for a moment seeing Alec's face.

"She was poisoned Alec," Jace finally said.
