I looked at her and I saw so much beauty and sadness. I heard so much about her, I just never thought I would ever meet her here in my little sisters room.
"Hey Micael! Did you see the pretty girl that was here? Her mommy died in this room I forgot to ask you earlier today." My little sister walked into the room, she was looking more sick and I didn't like seeing her that way.
"Yea I saw her."
"She's really nice! You should make her your girlfriend!" Vanessa started to giggle as she went under her blankets.
"You're nuts. She probably doesn't like me." Carolyn had awoken something in me, something I had never felt before.
"Why doesn't mommy come see me anymore Micael?" Vanessa's weak blue eyes looked up at me. My mom had left the country to go on vacation with her new boyfriend Thomas, she had been gone for almost a month now. Since my father died, all she ever did was hook up with older rich men. Life was hell.
"She's working baby. You know mom." I looked away, why would our own mother leave us alone all the time?
"I miss her." Vanessa began to sob. It broke my heart to see her that way.
I comforted her and sang to her until she fell asleep, then I headed down to the cafeteria.I grabbed something to eat and saw the clock, 12:45am. I noticed a girl staring at me, she was wearing a shirt that was apparently too small for her with shorts that showed off half of her bottom cleavage. She was with another girl, her sister I guessed. She looked at me and winked, I just smiled and waved back, she almost flashed a bit of her chest but I looked away on time. Girls these days, no self respect. I grabbed a quick snack and when I was finished the girls were already gone. Room 1-208 I thought, I closed my eyes and saw Carolyn her long brown hair flowing and her brown eyes looking deep into mine the first second we met. I threw my trash out and walked towards room 1-208. I hesitated when I was in front of the door, I heard my heart thumping so loud. Was this a good idea? I mean I had just met her a few hours ago and here I was in front of her room door about to go in and talk to her, she was probably sleeping I thought to myself. I walked away from the room and headed back to my little sister who was still sound asleep. I laied on the couch a few feet away from her bed and started to drift off into a deep sleep.
