I stepped into the road. Cars began to honk and drivers were yelling at me to get of the road. I stood in a lane and I began to yell.

"HIT ME!"

Jasmine ran outside.

"Vic! Vic get out of the road! Victor please!!" She was wearing my Bob Marley t-shirt. Carolyn had worn that one night. I had dropped her into the pool and she had no extra cloths so I let her borrow it, she ended up keeping it but she returned it after we broke up.

Victor. What are you doing? I don't know. I just wanna end my misery, a gray mini van drove by me and hit me with it's review mirror. I had nothing, the cars stopped coming and Jasmine pulled me off the road.

"Are you nuts! What the hell! Why would you do that!" She slapped me.

I looked at her, I'm done.

I went into the motel room and packed my cloths and all my belongings, I threw them in my car and I looked at Jasmine.

"I'm sorry." I jumped in the car and pulled out of the drive way, she began to yell.

"What! Wait! You can't leave me here Vic! Come back!" I looked at her in my car mirror and saw her run after me, she gave up a few steps later. I drove back to my life, back to Carolyn.

I got to Terrence about 4 hours later, I got stuck in a traffic jam because of a car collision a few miles ahead. When I finally go passed it, I saw the cars one which reminded me of Pipers, it had been pretty bad. I heard the officers say that one young lady was critical and she probably wouldn't make it.

I reached my home. My mom was outside watering her plants, she saw my car and got up. I stepped out, she looked at me in disgust.

"That lady isn't with you I suppose."

"No."

"She left you?" She laughed. "So that's why you're back?"

"No mom, I realized that what I was doing was wrong, I need you mom." I grabbed her hand but she pulled away.

"No Victor, I'm not your fool, you speak this now, but in a few days or weeks you're gonna go nuts again."

She had low tolerance for everything. I knew it was my fault for ditching my home and my family. It had been months already and I really needed her, why couldn't she realize that. After a long argument with her, she finally let me go back, A few conditions, but i was back. I was home. A few days later we got a call from my aunt Gloria, she said that Piper had been in a car accident a few days ago and she had just passed away. I knew from that moment that the car accident that had caused a traffic jam the day I was coming back home had been Piper. I couldn't believe that first Carolyn had been dead and now Piper was gone too. I wanted to go to St. Austin to see Carolyn's grave, if i could ever find it. I asked my sister but she said that Piper nor Katerina had ever told them where it was. Weeks went by and at Pipers funeral there had been a fight over two guys, i supposed she was sleeping with, that got into a fight that got so bad they knocked over her coffin. Her body tumbled to the ground, her mother more hurt than anything was crying hysterically. Katerina seemed fine, she had no expression and through out the entire ceremony she kept to herself. After burring my cousin in a cemetery all I thought about was how bad Carolyn's mother felt when she lost her only daughter. From what Carolyn had told me, her and her mother were alone, she had family that lived millions of miles away. Five months had already passed since Piper told me about Carolyn's death. For five entire months I felt that emptiness inside of me. I decided to find Carolyn's grave, and see her, at least one last time I would get to speak to her.
