I let out a long, deep breath. "I wish I get to see this everyday."
"I couldn't say otherwise." I turned my head to Cole and saw him staring back at me.
Orange skies reflected on his face. His eyes luminous and bright, his hair blown by the wind over his dark eyebrows, his features sharp, and his lips filled with delightfulness.
This would be one of the best sunsets I'd ever seen with Cole. The waves, our sandy toes, and Cole. Everything felt surreal, I don't ever want time to pass.
His hand reached me and tucked my hair behind my ears as he gently leaned in for a kiss. I close my eyes and feel his soft, sweet kiss on my lips as I respond with the same intensity. Leaning closer wasn't enough. A raging fire inside me wants to feel him so close till I can't breathe anymore.
I kneel and encircle my arms around his neck as our bodies collided and electrified each other. A moan came out from his mouth and I couldn't help but let the fire burn bright inside me. Seconds later, I can feel his hands traveling up and down on my waist.
We just can't keep our hands to ourselves today, can't we?
Breathless, we stopped.
He look up to me, caressing my arm. His lips luscious red, his Adam's apple bobs up and down. "Temptress."
My brows arched. "I didn't do anything." My fingers run through his hair.
"But something said you did." His thumb starts running lines under my brassier. It tickles and at the same time, making me feel hot and nervous. "However, disappointed as I am, we should probably head back before they'll find us naked and exhausted here."
Blush crept on my face and I look away. He really love this kind of mood, seeing me like this.
He loves to tease me. "Shall we walk back?"
I just nod and he help me stood up first.
His muscles flexed itself when he stoop low and took the towel from the sand as he drape it on his arm. I took a step, "Wait." but halted when he kneeled in front of me as he take the excess sand off my knees with his palm. My heart melted so fast. His tattoo's visible from where I stood, his hair falling down his face. He stood up and smiled. "Let's go."
And we started walking hand by hand.
"Thank you." I squeezed his hand and my lips pouted.
And he squeezed them back.
After doing some exercises in the morning, we decided to come here at the beach using a motorcycle. It was a long drive. I'm just glad I'm wearing a short and I'm not afraid of skin cancer. We arrived a little later than usual and damn, I could eat a horse. There was a lot of food but sadly, Viviana, Mariane and Benedict wasn't able to join us due to their daily duties as adults. Jace, Mariane's husband, didn't show up also last night. I can only hope for Hadleigh and Cory to be happy even though their parents are not around most of the times.
After we ate, we watch over the kids swimming in the pool while their parents are either playing cards inside the cottage or swimming at the beach. Astrid is also not around, I have no idea where she went with Jay—yes, Jay is with us. However, his friends already went home in the morning.
The best part is that, we're gonna have the beach for ourselves today. Nanna said we'll be staying overnight.
I watch Cole's face as we head back to the cottage. He's been silent, and hard to read at the moment.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
His eyes automatically meet mine. "Dollars." He smiled, swaying our entwined fingers. "I'm just curious..."
