Mind this story has some suicidal parts in it.
Simple in and out mission, transportation didn't even have to leave.
Mute and soken were tasked of executing a Rouge agent, hiding in the mountain.
Apon entering the mountain, the Rouge agent was hanging from some chains.
Soken: "did they kill themselves?"
Mute shakes his head, too high, no ladder or anything, they were put up.
Heading a little deeper into the mountain, there was a second person hanging, their body was rather close to the ground and they have a knife?, yet they are missing their Lower half.
Because we need dang- I mean out of curiosity, soken got closer to the second body.
Mute was being rather irresponsible and though nothing of it (usually very protective towards soken)
As she got closer, the body appeared to be burnt, completely black.
Then it looked up at soken.
Before she could react, her mind was invaded with terrible thoughts, telling her she's worthless, to kill herself.
As if she lost control she raised her switchblade to her neck, struggling against the influence, but slowly succumbing the knife started to cut her neck.
The hanging body was shot, the thoughts disappeared and soken Regained control
Mute rushes to soken, who remained still, incredibly traumatized.
Soken wasn't trained to deal with the madness of war, or to deal with major stress, she's the medic, that'd all she wanted to be, she'll lose her stomach to violent scene's, and is more easily effected by the mental trauma this line of work brings.
Because she's not really planned to go to eden, but alas, medics have become a rarity, people just wanna shoot guns or smash skulls.
Soken was still and quiet but tearing up.
Emotional support gunman engage.
In reality, all mute could really do was pull soken into a embrace, sometimes all people need is a hug you know? Hugs make you feel safe and help calm you down, fun fact that's why people hug themselves when frightened.
What could be better, secure, warm, comfortable, it's literally the best way of consultation.
Off topic, back on rails
Since the target was already dead, the mission ended alot faster than they planned.
Back in the agency: mutes quarter's
Original plan: work on the clean brew
New plan: embrace the cat
Soken was rather clingy for a while, the bright side is, mute knows that soken thoroughly enjoys being embraced, and soken know mute likes being embraced by her.
Probably only her too, normally he just breaks free or avoids hugs entirely.
