It was a split second decision, that decision lead to another, eventually leading to agony.

6... he was alright in the end.

6 was in charge of several initiates, showing them the hell that was Eden, but also to test the training they were regularly put into.

But... there was a miscalculation, or some miscommunication.

6:"stay in formation, were headed back to the safe zone, watch for movement"

Initiate:"I...hear somthing...is it crying?"

6:"where? Halt formation"

Initiate:"it sounds like it's to our right, someone's having a rough time"

6:"that's not a person"

Initiate:"...what?"

6:"that's my worse nightmare"

6:"move up, stay slow and keep your eyes PEELED for somthing in the snow"

They kept moving towards the safe zone, but the crying grew, louder, closer.

6:"where is it...where is that fucking demon"

Initiate:"demon? Surely you jest, I don't-"

6:"that fucker isn't human, none of them are, we ain't the only ones here, and I'm not letting it kill another unaware group of Initiates"

One of the initiates saw something in the dense snow, oblivious to the danger it truly was, he raised his weapon.

6 realized what he was doing.

6:"no! Hold your-"

The gunshot rang out, and so did the scream.

6:"Fuck! You have no idea what you just did!"

The sickler broke free of its chains and rushed towards the group

Initiate:"YO WHAT THE FUCK!"

6 ran straight into the sickler, it was staggered

6:"all of you, run to the fucking safe zone, don't look back, just fucking run!"

6 grabs his knife and clashes with the sickler head on.

As the sickler shreds 6 apart, deep wounds all over him, he continued to stab it in the skull, even pulling its eye out.

It slashed right across his stomach, and managed to break his leg, and arm, but 6 managed to kill it.

But with his guts both figuratively and literally being exposed, the odds stacked against him.

But 6 is the fire that only burns out when it burns itself out.

Barely any strength, bleeding faster than a broken pipeline, crippled heavily, vision was nonexistent.

But he wasn't dieing here.

Not now

Not ever

Slowly, in agony, Nay, pain not even morphine could relieve, he pulled himself towards the safe zone, one arm, one leg.

The trail of blood was more like a giant marker had pressed by.

He continued moving. Willing himself to survive, it was almost as his wounds melded themselves, but that never happened, he was dieing, he knew that, but he wouldn't allow it.

It took 5 minutes of pure. Hell worthy
Minutes of pain and suffering.

He fell unconscious when the initiates ran to him.
