(y/n) frowns as she sees Eddie leans against the shed wall, crumbling to the ground. His hands shook while he held the glass bottle, staring off into the distance and she kneels down in front of him. She carefully takes the broken bottle from his hands, setting it down on the floor before holding his hands. She knew that he just needed to hold someone or have someone to hold him to just ground him, that someone was there for him. Steve sat on the side, sighing in relief that he wasn't shanked by a terrified metalhead. Billy kept his eyes on the punk as his love calmed him down, arms crossed and leaning against a wall next to Robin.

"Eddie... hey we're here now ok? Nothing is going to happen to you." (y/n) speaks up, shushing Dustin before he could ask Eddie what he saw. The poor guy needed to feel like someone cared for him at this moment, he didn't need to be interrogated yet. Eddie looks down at (y/n)'s hands, thankful for the warmth in the freezing shed and he squeezes them. "You're ok..." she squeezes his hands back to let him know that someone was there for him.

"We just want to talk Eddie." Dustin says.

"We want to know what happened." Billy says as he moves to stand next to (y/n).

Eddie closes his eyes as he cried, sniffling before shaking his head. "You won't believe me..."

"Try us." Max nods, letting Eddie tell the group everything he was forced to witness when Chrissy Cunningham died in front of him.

"I... I didn't know what to do, so I... I ran away. I left her there." Eddie shudders out, (y/n) helping him move from sitting on the ground to sit on something more comfortable before he buried his head into his hands. (y/n) shuddered against the story the metalhead told the group, Billy holding her tight while rubbing her arms. He pursed his lips, officially not ok with what this thing could do to people and he was worried about who it would go after. "You all think I'm crazy, right?" Eddie scoffs, thinking how stupid he could be for anyone to believe him.

"No. We don't think you're crazy-"

"-don't bullshit me, man!I know how this sounds!" Eddie cuts Dustin off, shakily wiping his tears away.

"We're not bullshitting you." Max says.

"We believe you." Robin speaks up as well.

"We uh, we all went through something as horrific as that Eddie." the said boy looks at (y/n) when she said that, frowning at her but he could tell she wasn't lying. A skill he picked up during hell that was Hawkins High.

"Look, what I'm about to tell you might be a little... difficult to take." Dustin starts, trying to carefully explain to Eddie about everything the group had gone through, about the Upside Down without scaring the metalhead into thinking the group needed to go to rehab. He tried not to reveal too much about the other world beneath Hawkins. The last thing he wanted was to push someone into that horrible side of the town. He didn't want to make that same mistake, wanting to keep his friend safe.

Ignorance is bliss right?

(y/n) held her arms as she looked around, a terrible feeling suddenly washing over her that made a chill run down her spine. "Billy..." she whispers, looking around when she suddenly heard those nightmare-inducing chimes. "Billy." she gasps, her hands immediately reaching up to her ears as it got louder and he looks down with worry.

"What's wrong?"

"Headphones!"

"Shit!" Billy runs outside to the car and (y/n) runs outside too, ignoring the calls of the group who were worried. Her heart raced in panic when Billy searched through the bags in the car, her looking around in fear hoping that she wasn't taken to the red place again.
