(y/n) - your name

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"'Cause we are living in a material world, and I am a material girl. You know that we are living in a material world, and I am a material girl."

(y/n) sings out as Billy drove them back home, him chuckling and shaking his head in amusement at her just having her own concert. He was glad that she was been happier lately and he hoped to see her like this every day. The night was quiet but inside the car was chaotic, the roads empty from driving home from the pools since Billy had the late closing shift and (y/n) came to get him.

"You don't think the punks are still at your place?"

"I don't know, probably not. I don't mind them using my place as their hang out but it pisses me off that they don't clean up after themselves..." (y/n) sighs out, ready to scold the kids when the boys made a mess of her living room last time. Even Eleven and Max told them off.

"Maybe just-"

"-shit!"

The car harshly jerks as if something collides against it, something big smashing against the windshield and Billy quickly breaks. The car skids and slides across the ground, hitting its side against a pole.

"Fuck..." (y/n) groans softly, rubbing her head as she looks up to see Billy grunting in pain.

"Are you ok?" he hisses out, checking her first to see that she had a couple of cuts from the broken glass.

"I should be asking you that. Your head." (y/n) gasps, turning his face to see that he had a large cut on his forehead.

"I'm fine but what the fuck was that!?" the couple looks out the window to see an abandoned shed or something in front of them.

"I don't know but I don't have a good feeling about this..." Billy tries to get the car to work again, (y/n) getting out to see what they hit. "What the fuck...?" there was blood and goo on the shattered windshield, (y/n) rushing to get in the car when she heard a loud screech. "Lock the doors! There's something out there!" She reaches to the back, moving the carpet to see the guns she stored were still there.

"You kept the guns in here!?" Billy gasps.

"Yes! After what happened last year, of course, I did! Is the car working!?"

"I'm trying here!" Billy turns his key, trying to get the engine on again but steam billows out from the hood. He and (y/n) freeze when they hear the screeching again and that sick feeling she felt in the bathroom of the restaurant came back.

"Billy, we need to go. Now!"

"Just wait-" (y/n) screams from the growling and something hitting against the car, Billy finally getting the engines revving as he quickly backs out of the abandoned area.

"Floor it!" she yells out, grabbing a rifle and rolling down the window to shoot at the vine that was chasing after the car. The creature wails and screeches, retreating away as the couple drive off down the road and far away from the building. (y/n) pants as she quickly rolls the window back up, clutching the rifle tightly to her chest.

"Was that..."

"I think so..."

"I thought it was over..." Billy looks over at (y/n) their nightmares coming back alive again.

"It's back... The creature is back... We have to tell the others."

~~~~~~~~
(y/n) was pacing the living room as she waited nervously for the others to get to her place, Billy leaning against the kitchen counter smoking to calm his nerves while he poured himself a glass of whiskey.
