(y/n)'s screams slam Vecna away from Max, the sound rippling around her. Eleven and Max both get dropped to the floor as the vines slither away, the girls running to each other to hold the other tightly.

"(y/n)..." Max cries out, going rigid when the ground suddenly starts to shake and she slowly looks up to see the sky darkening with red lightning thundering. There was a large cloud of black mist circling around them violently, spinning and sucking in the air around them as it slowly took form. The younger girls watched in terror as limbs formed out of the black smoke, quickly recognising what this was.

"The Mindflayer..." Eleven gasps, the creature's legs dropping down around her and Max, the girls quickly bracing themselves thinking this was the end.

"(y/n)! Watch out!" Max yells out but the girl didn't hear her. Max and Eleven watched with wide eyes as the Mindflayer opens its jaws, standing behind (y/n) directly and roared at Vecna as the sounds of her screams pitched higher and higher. The girls watched in shock as (y/n) raised her arms and the Mindflayer did the same, the smoke of its limbs rushing past her to rip through Vecna as he howls out in agony and bursts into a cloud of black smoke and flames. The smoke rushes around all three girls, (y/n) quickly closing her mouth to stop her screams.

"(y/n)! Max!" Eleven calls out, looking around her like she couldn't see them anymore and she starts to disappear.

"Eleven!" Max gasps, trying to hold onto her but she was gone.

"Max! Go!" (y/n) yells out, choking against the black smoke that suffocated her.

"Not without you! Not again!" Max gets up to run into her arms. "Don't leave me again!"

"I'm sorry Max..." the girl looks at the older one with wide eyes, shaking her head as (y/n) held her cheeks.

Max cries as she kisses her forehead and she tries to hold onto (y/n). "No! (y/n) don't!" She wails out, a force throwing her away from (y/n) as she gets surrounded by the cloud of smoke.

"Max!" Lucas exclaims as she gasps for air, crying and he holds her in his arms. She held onto him tightly, sobbing against his shoulders when the door to the attic slammed open.

"Max!" Billy yells out, relief flooding through him to see that she was ok as she gets up and runs to hug him.

"I'm sorry Billy. It's all might fault. It's my fault again!"

"(y/n)! Wake up!" Lucas desperately tries to shake her awake as her head rolls back, eyes fluttering.

"No! Not again!" Billy runs over to her, kneeling in front of her as he held her cheeks. "Don't be a hero! Just come back to me! (y/n) please! Just stop this and come back! I can't lose you again! I keep losing you! I can't do this without you! Just come back (y/n)!" Billy yells out, begging her to wake up. "(y/n)!" Billy shakes her gently, trying to jump through to the Upside Down with her to bring her back but he was forced to watch her fall limp in his arms.

"Billy what-" Max gets cut off as her brother picks up her sister-in-law bridal style, carrying her out of the house with Max and Lucas while leaving behind Jason who yelled out to them.

"I'm taking her home. Maybe Wheeler and Henderson might find a way to bring her back." Billy sighs out, everyone getting Billy's car so he could drive them back to Max's place

"You found me." (y/n) breathes heavily, trying to get air in her burning lungs but it felt like it was stuffed with fuzz, her vision blurry except for the black smoke that surrounded her. "And to think your friends thought I was dead yet here you are." (y/n) whips her head around, trying to find the asshole in the midst of red darkness. "I never could figure out why you of all people were so special." Vecna steps forward, limping with a scowl as he held his side. His skin was burnt to a crisp, bleeding from various bullet wounds and (y/n) knew it was from the grownups.

"Just cut the fucking bullshit and die already. You've made my family suffer and now it's time for you to pay."

"Your family?" Vecna spits out. "You abandoned your family. Your parents think you and your brother are dead and they don't know why or who but in reality, it was you who murdered your brother."

"I didn't kill him!"

"No, but you came back alive when he didn't." (y/n) glares at Vecna, the black mist cycloning around her quickly. "And how did you come back alive? Right, we saved you. You are a part of us now."

"I'm never going to be a part of you!" (y/n) hisses. "You all need to burn in hell!" she snaps back, the mist shooting up in the air to form into the Mindflayer.

"You think you can control it?" Vecna seethes, raising his hand to take over the Mindflayer as it roars, the creature shaking its head and stomping its limbs as it stands behind Vecna.

"I don't care about controlling it, I need you gone. Permanently." (y/n) moves to grab a broken wooden chair piece, cursing in her head at why she couldn't have grabbed a gun or a grenade. 

She knew Vecna was hurt badly, enough that he wouldn't be able to use his full powers which is good. Vecna raises his hands, trying to choke out (y/n) but he was too weak even for that and this made her grin before she charges forward to stab him. Vecna quickly moves away from being stabbed, grabbing (y/n)'s head and bashing it against a rock. She cries out in pain from the snap in her nose, blood seeping down her face but she turns around to kick him away from her before she could get hurt again. Vecna growls and tries to stab her with his claws but she ducks behind him, grabbing the broken wooden piece from the floor and stabbing his back. 

He grunts in pain, stumbling forward but turns around to face (y/n) in annoyance. "I've had enough with you. Your world will end!" Vecna manages to lift (y/n) from the ground and she suffocates, grabbing her throat as she tries to breathe. Her vision starts to get spotty and she takes in her final breath, letting out a scream. The banshee scream rips through Vecna, rippling around the shattered dimension and he stumbles back as he drops her. He howls in pain, the Mindflayer roaring and breaking free from its trance to stand behind (y/n).

This ends now!

The pitch shifts higher and higher, Vecna trying to control the Mindflayer but it raises its limb with (y/n)'s and dives forward to suffocate him. The black fog rushes past (y/n) as she screams louder, Vecna yelling out as he flies back one more time and slams against the rock which forces the wooden piece on his back to drive through his chest. Tears drip down (y/n)'s eyes as she tries to stop her screams, her lungs begging for air but it was like her jaw was locked open. 

She stumbles away from the Mindflayer as it turns to face her and she howls as its limbs try to grab her. The smoke blows away and the creature roars at her but she screams and screams for it to go away. The smoke rushes up into the air when she finally manages to close her jaw, coughing for air and she falls to the floor when her legs couldn't keep her up anymore.

"Oh fuck..." she pats her chest, gulping for air before turning around to see the sky darken dangerously. There was a sudden tug on her body and she gasps in pain, clutching her stomach from the painful pulling. (y/n) pulls her dress up to see something wriggling within her skin and she gags, covering her mouth before she throws up. Whatever it was, she knew she needed to get it out and quick. She quickly got up but stopped next to Vecna who didn't move a muscle. "A pathetic way to die don't you think?" she mumbles out, looking around for something sharp. 

She sighs, not wanting to do this but she rips out the wooden piece, quickly slamming it down on Vecnas neck to decapitate him. There was a sudden fury that rushed through, anger rippling through her arms as she raised the wooden piece and stabbed Vecna over and over again. She yelled at him as his blood soaked her hands, ripping his head off and throwing it far away in the distance. With the rush of adrenaline, she ripped out a piece of the wood, lifting her dress and living open her skin.

"FUCK!" (y/n) quickly moves to grab the wriggling thing inside her, ripping it out and dropping it to the floor. It screeched and yelped, a decaying blob of skin and muscle. It called out to the Mindflayer and the black smoke in the sky rushed down towards (y/n), making her shriek in fear before grabbing a rock to kill the little blob. (y/n) holds her head and closed her eyes quickly, dropping to the floor as the Mindflayer roars and dives to take her.

Her mind races with all her precious memories, thinking of the group, the kids and Billy. 

I'm sorry Billy...
