I look around  in awe as I see the majority of the kingdom here. Cars are parked to the far right of the lot and the girls of 17 and the boys of 15 are getting lined up on the left side facing across the stage they're standing next to. I say bye to my dad and give him a hug before I walk towards the other kids getting lined up. I wave to the Hunters and other families I know. I get up there and get put in between two boys as was customary. I look around and get nervous from all the people until I find my dad and I calm down, knowing he won't let anyone embarrass me or hurt me. He won't be able to do that when I meet whoever has the same car as me. I shake that thought from my head and notice he is next to the royals. I stand straighter as the ceremony has begun. They start on the side farthest from the stage. Given that I'm one person from the stage I'll have to wait for awhile. I see the boys who find their match stand up in the crowd and move towards their partners. The boys get their cars two years early because the girls are usually too frightened to stand up. It finally gets to me and I take a step forward with my heart pounding out of my chest. Is this how mom felt? I look at the semi where the cars are stored and watch as my red 1969-style mustang is driven off the ramp. It takes me a second to realize that it's the same as Sam's dark green mustang.  I look out at where his family is and see someone else step forward from the corner of my eye, stating they have the same car. I look in between the two as Sam sees my confusion and looks at the tall other guy that has  brown hair  walking towards the stage. I look at the royals on the stage and my dad as I start to panic at what's going wrong. The queen doesn't seem flustered at all and motions for me to step onto the stage as the two boys get there. She motions for us to go to where the party is being held and I look at my dad who nods and the three of us follow our orders to go to the party tent.
