After the longest time going over everything, I can finally make my way home. I drive my car slowly following my dad's instructions. Considering Colton is following behind me, I do what he says and drive slow without doing anything fun. I pull into the driveway and wait for my dad's second in command to make his way over to me. We go into the house and make our way to the kitchen. I get a glass of water and offer him one. Colton refuses and I slowly sip the water as I sit on a bar stool. "What do you think is going to happen to her so she doesn't get out again?" I ask to fill the awkward silence. "I'm not sure what they can do. It was supposed to be the most secure facility around." I nod and let the silence blanket us again. I get up once the door bell rings. I open it and to my surprise Sam is standing there. "Hi." I say shortly. "Hey." He clears his throat and scratches the back of his neck. I take a step away from the door and hold it open without saying a word to him. I hear Colton walk towards the entry way as Sam walks into the house. "I hear that you're going to talk to the king later." I nod and close the door, not trusting myself to talk calmly to him. "Is that your plan? To not talk to me again?" I shrug and smirk, knowing it's pissing him off. The three of us stand there, quietly waiting for someone else to start the conversation. "Is there a reason you're here?" I'm shocked to here Colton ask this and glance at him. "I need to get my stuff and find out what is going on in my marriage." I scoff at how he must think I won't get the divorce. He was right though, it is better I get a divorce than putting him six feet under. "I'm not staying married to you. Whether it's because Brett grants us a divorce or because nobody can find your body, I really don't care."

"If nobody can find my body, how will they know I'm dead?" He asks thinking he found a way for him to stay alive without the divorce. "After a certain amount of time they'll pronounce you dead anyways. Even if they don't have a body or crime scene."

"You'll have a motive though. You are the first person they will look to." I shrug and take a few steps towards him. "You were my best friend, you really think I'm going to believe I'm the only one that can't stand you?" I laugh without any emotion and he finally runs out of things to counter me killing him. "I could get away with it. We all know this, why try to think you're smarter than I am and get me to back out of it? The only way you keep breathing is if we get that divorce approved. So it would be in your best interest to try to get it accepted by the king, don't you think?" He looks cautious and glances at Colton but realizes Colton won't say anything that would prove me to be guilty. "Yeah, I suppose it would be." I nod and look around. "I wonder what will happen. If I'll move in with my dad again or what." I say softly to myself but I know they can hear me. "That wouldn't be the worst thing, to move back in with your dad. You both love the army and you both will be at work if you stay in the army." I nod at Colton's words and open the door once someone knocks. "Hi." I say, confused as to why he is here. "Hey." He walks inside and give me a bear hug. "Tyler? What are you doing here?" I pull away and he is glaring at Sam. I sigh and drag him upstairs to the guest room. "I won't hurt him Jo. No need to worry."

"I don't care if you hurt him or not. I don't like being ignored." He laughs and leans against the wall. "You never did like to sit down." I roll my eyes and sit in my desk chair. "Okay. Well, I heard you were going to meet with my dad. I'm supposed to bring you to him, where's your dad?"

"Right here. Let's go kids." I look over at my door to see Colton and my dad standing there. I nod and stand up, only to fall back down when my head spins violently. "J?" I hear three voices asking if I'm alright but my head can't focus on anything at the moment. "Oh, crap." I say as darkness floods my vision and I go unconscious.
