"There is no way she could have done that without help." I play with the food on my plate as I think of who she could have on her side. "What were her crimes?"

"We aren't allowed to know."

"We aren't allowed to know a lot of things. Why can't we know things that could be helpful to getting her?" I hear my voice getting louder and louder the more angry I get. Colton laughs at my anger and I hit his arm. "Don't make fun of me!" I try to hold in my laughter. I lay my head on the counter to try to think things through. "She would have had to have someone on her side that knows the lay out of buildings and such." He nods and looks out the window that headlights suddenly shine through. I go through to the front door and open it. I see the dirty blonde hair of Jack and Chase. I glance at Colton. "Would it be bad if I ignored those two into following orders?"

"What orders would that be?"

"That I told them I would see them tomorrow morning at six." He shrugs and nods as the two boys walk towards the house. I close the door and lock it. I lean against the wall and listen as they knock on the door. "Come on, we know that you are here."

"I know. I also know that you heard my orders earlier today. You said you understood Chase." Colton laughs silently and looks amused. "But Jolene. You do realize we can get this job done faster if we talk today."

"I don't care. You will follow my orders." I move into the kitchen again and sit at the bar. "Aren't you worried they are going to do something stupid?"

"Not really. I want to see how long it takes them to break in here." I shrug and lean against the counter. "Don't you think they will have to break something in order to break in?"

"Not if they are as good as you say they are." I shrug and eat my dinner. We stay quiet as we eat and in about six minutes the other two in our team are standing in the kitchen. "Hmm, really Colton? These are the best you could find? Six minutes doesn't scream the top of the line."

"No I don't suppose it does." Colton sighs and we look at each other. "That was a test? I don't like tests."

"You also don't like following orders, Chase, but the thing you have to realize is that you have to be ready for both when working with a woman." I smile at Jack who looks like he is about to burst out laughing. "Yeah I guess so."

"Well now we have an issue. I stepped down and put Jolene in charge today while you were talking with her father and I know he told you. Just because she wasn't in charge when she gave you the order doesn't mean you didn't have to follow it." Colton stands and looks very intimidating. "Yeah, we heard she was the boss now. We also heard you two were having a meeting without us." I hear the door open and close and soon Sam walks into the room. "Thought it was just you and Colton that were having a meeting."

"We were. These are the others on our team." He look surprised and laughs. "Well don't let me get in your way." I roll my eyes and Chase makes the mistake of laughing. "What are you laughing at soldier?" Sam gets up in his face and I stand up and make my way over to them. Jack, smartly, moves back as I get in between them. Sam pushes me behind his back and repeats his question. I sigh and move between them again. "Sam, please just calm down. They're leaving." Sam pushes me out of the way again before repeating his question a third time. "Okay! Everyone out! Now!" I yell and Chase, Jack, and Colton leave the kitchen and soon the door can be heard closing. "See? No trouble Sam. There is food for you on the stove." I move away and put my dishes in the dishwasher along with Colton's and bring my water bottle into my room. I sit on my bed and take out a notepad to write down all that we found out.
