Sasuke's eyes narrowed when he saw Shino enter his class to go to one of his friends. He's heard the rumors, he's seen them around campus and to say he was pissed was an understatement. Shino was the nerd who wasn't afraid to break you into pieces if you overstepped your boundaries. He has a wide circle of friends so the sudden relationship between him and Naruto was a surprise. He was taken aback for sure, it seemed like a wrong pairing. They were too far different, Shino was top of the school and Naruto was the dead last. Naruto was very much an airhead and couldn't get social cues whereas Shino was fully functioning.

He could understand if the Aubrame wanted to just fuck her, Naruto had a fantastic body, even now his girlfriend Sakura was still jealous. He sighed quietly as he averted his gaze as Shino and Shikamaru talked about something regarding a double date. His ears perked up at that as he knew Shikamaru's girlfriend Temari was friends with Sakura. "This could get messy," He muttered under his breath.

"Naruto's a bit on the shy side," Shino confirmed. "It took a while for Hinata to get her to warm up to her. I think Temari would be good for her."

"That would be good, Temari has been looking to have double dates with people she can get along with. She's been trying to tap into her girly side a bit more. It's honestly cute and I think Naruto could help in that department," Shikamaru agreed.

"Should we set a date and run it by them?" Shino asked as he took out his phone to text Naruto.

"That would be best, one second. I'll text Temari now," Shikamaru also whipped out his phone to text his girlfriend while they discuss the date. "I think the mall would be a good start then we can feel out everything from there on."

Sasuke watched as they set the date and he wondered why he cared. He burnt his bridge with the blonde. He allowed his girlfriend to ruin her reputation. So why?

As Shino was leaving the classroom Sasuke found himself following after him. "Hey Aburame," He called out and the teen in question turned to Sasuke and looked down at him. The Uchiha bristled at the coldness that lay in those eyes behind dark glasses.

"What is it Uchiha?" He sighed like he was annoyed with the situation at hand.

"Heard you're dating Naruto, just wanted to warn you about her."

Shino laughed at him, it was a slow low laughter that was somewhat malicious. "You of all people shouldn't be warning anybody. That pink hyena you have clinging to you is so insecure and pathetic. You three used to be friends but because of her insecurity and jealousy, you all dumped on her and made her an outcast."

Sasuke's eyes widened as Shino placed a hand on his shoulder. "Listen Uchiha back the fuck up. Naruto's my girl and you have no right commenting on her. Focus on your hyena and I'll flaunt my butterfly."

He walked away after leaving a deep impression on Sasuke who held his shoulder. They always did say Shino was sort of a dark horse. Seeing it in action, however, was different. He shuddered a bit before heading back into class. His eyes met Shikamaru who was giving him this cruel knowing smirk. The Nara gave him a slight wave before turning back to his phone.

Temari was I'm class as she received the messages from her boyfriend. She knew Naruto, but now she knew the truth and sitting beside her 'friend' made her skin crawl. She gave Sakura a side eye who was also staring at her phone but she was nervous. "I have a double date with Shino and Naruto this weekend," She called out casually.

Sakura stiffened but she didn't look at Temari. "Really? I would be wary of Naruto-"

"You're full of shit," Temari spat. "Get lost."

Sakura flinched under the harsh words.

"Jealousy never looks good on flat-chested bitches," She sneered. "But Naruto got the upgrade."

Sakura gritted her teeth at the jab to her physique. "You don't know anything about the situation," She pushed back as Temari cracked her neck and knuckles.

"I know enough to make my judgment call," She sneered. "Honestly I expected a lot more from you. I didn't realize you were this petty. But I guess some appeal is there, love makes people do crazy things but I doubt I'll go this far for Shikamaru. Seems a bit too much right? Not even an engagement ring to confirm long-term plans."

She chuckled mockingly as she stood up and walked out of the classroom. Naruto wasn't in advanced courses so her classes were on the other end of school. Regardless Temari made the journey without any fuss as Shikamaru had mentioned Naruto was probably in English at this moment. Ditching class seems beneficial right now.
