Naruto could be seen dancing around their small living room when Shino came home from work that evening. She had her arms above her head as she moved around slowly to a song playing on her phone. She seemed fixated on her footwork, mumbling under her breath as she tried to steady pace. It took a moment for Shino to realize it was a song he had chosen for them to do their first dance to. She was practicing on her own. He stood in the doorway watching her, her confused steps, her confident ones, the little smile she wore when she got it right again. It was endearing.

He coughed. Naruto jumped a bit, turned pink at his gaze, and looked away. "How long have you been standing there?"

Shino hummed as he hung up his jacket. "Who knows but it does look rather cute to see you practicing," He walked over and took her waist in his hands. "Come on showing me what you've learned."

Naruto wrapped her arms around his neck as the song started over. Their bodies pressed together as they fell into motions with each other. Soon the scene changed as when a month passed they could be seen doing their first dance at their wedding. Naruto looked ethereal in her modest white dress, her curves shown beautifully as her shoulders lay exposed, covered in thin white lace. Shino was dressed up in a simple black-three piece suit with a signature face mask but his glasses were gone for the day and everyone could see the love he held for Naruto as they twirled around the dance floor.

Her bright smile made Shino giddy as they lost themselves in the music. Their friends watched on at the happy couple, the last to be engaged but the first to marry. It was beautiful, the wedding, the cake, the couple. Though absent family on either side of the bride and groom, their wide circle of friends made it all the more whole. Shino's parents did reach out to him, not to apologize for the abuse or neglect but to demand that he invite them as honored guests, that they get to have a proper sit down with Naruto and vet her.

Shino laughed on the call and promptly blocked them.

He didn't need that in his life and certainly nowhere near his beloved wife. Nobody needed to vet Naruto because he knew who he was getting married to. An Airhead with a full heart of kindness. She was now a queen, to be pampered by a King, himself. So he continued dancing with his beautiful wife, urged on by the cheers of his friends.

At the bouquet toss, he gave Shikamaru a knowing glance when Temari screamed that she knew she was next. Shikamaru shrugged helplessly as he smiled at his ecstatic fiance. He should get a wedding planner for her. Naruto and Temari were jumping in a circle with the other girls swarming them at her catch. Naruto planted a kiss on Temari's cheek, her red lipstick staining her as the photographer captured the moment perfectly.

The dinner was lively and wonderful, with the newlyweds cutting the cake and the subtle care Shino takes to ensure Naruto ate well as she was stressed out even the morning of their wedding. Breaking bread and wine with friends around made the party go straight into late night. In the end, Shino mounted his new bike, a gift from Choji, and Naruto jumped on enthusiastically, hugging Shino tightly. She leaned up to his ear. "I love you ya'know? My darling husband loves me very much right?"

Shino stroked her arms around his waist. "I do love you, more than you will ever imagine."

Naruto clung tighter to him, burying her face into his back.
