When I got into the castle again, I avoided everyone and took shortcuts that many people don't know to go to the common room. I felt irritated, so I immediately took a shower as soon as I entered, until I noticed the golden trio again, chatting. They noticed my presence and I smiled at them.

"(Y/n)? Where have you been?" Ron asked as he took a chunk of his snack.

"Oh- I was uh..." Hermione looked at me oddly, examining my whole figure. "I was just strolling around the castle."

Hermione and Ron nodded at my answer, but Harry stood up from the sofa and walked closer to me. He whispered something to me and I could tell that he was hesitant to do that at first, "Some Ravenclaw called August Silvius has been searching for you," I went irritated once again and sigh.

Harry noticed my sudden change of mood. He looks at me with worry and I scratched my head to avoid letting my annoying attitude out, slightly chuckling at how the third years are looking at me confusingly. Since there were only the four of us in the common room, I spoke, "I might need a nice warm shower."

"If August has problems with you, I can-"

I cut Harry's words out as I slightly laugh at that, "No, Harry. August is alright." Ruffling the boy's hair, I quickly turn around and headed towards my dorm, shouting out, "I'm off to shower now!"

The next day, I walked with the trio as we all got ready at the same time. Harry was close next to me, which I find odd, but I didn't mind and talked about the Quidditch match with him. As much as I've been with Cedric and saw him practice, I was rooting for Harry more; since we're both in the same house, and he's a sweet boy.

Walking down the hall, I saw Cedric and Cho talking with each other; they were standing very close next to each other. His friend group was watching from somewhere, looking at the two with smirks on their dumb faces. I got grossed out by this. I can't believe they were already that close.

Harry noticed this and looked at me, saying, "You're prettier," he said that when the four of us were near the two. I hear Ron strongly agreeing to that, while Hermione tried to drag us all away from Cedric as she noticed Cho looking at Harry oddly after he said that.

I was focused on Harry more rather than looking at Cedric's reaction. When I was about to thank him for that compliment, and to my surprise, the captain of Hufflepuff's Quidditch team grabbed my wrist, turning my figure around and we both faced each other. The three stopped their tracks and I could feel Harry stare at us seriously.

"Why did you leave yesterday?" The tall one asked, genuinely sounding sad. Oh, no, I'm starting to feel bad now. He's exactly like a puppy. And I can't believe I imagined a sad one. It looks exactly like him.

I opened my mouth to answer but soon closed it once again, couldn't say it with everyone staring at us, especially his friend group 'enjoying' the show. I couldn't drag him away even if I wanted to do it first, so I looked into his eyes and hoped that he can bring us somewhere more private. He understood and when we were about to talk somewhere else, Harry stopped the two of us by grabbing my wrist, too. Oh my god.

"Where are you taking her?" Though Harry doesn't have any problems with Cedric, this boy knew me first, so he had the right to feel uncertain about my safety with someone I had just known for 2 months. He also sounded stern when he asked that.

Cedric smiles at Harry and good lord I wish I could escape from this damsel in distress situation. "I wanna talk with her privately if that's okay with you... (y/n)?" He knew I was alright with it, but he had to ask so that Harry can know.

I nod at that and look at Harry, both of them finally released my wrist. I felt relieved and as I turned to Harry, I adjusted his glasses more upwards like how he wears them normally, then smiled at him. Cho looked at me in disbelief, but honestly, if I could switch places with her right now, I would.
