Chapter 13: He Lied

Normal POV

Days have passed and Hinata is fully recovered. They quit the Akatsuki after that mission. They are still finding Itachi and looking some information on him. Hinata is still hiding that she regained her memories from them. She just act they way she did before to them.

Sasuke and Hinata became distant to each other when they left the Akatsuki.

'I think what I did was inappropriate. Now she's distancing herself from me.' Sasuke thought to himself

Sasuke didn't know why he is acting like that towards Hinata. He doesn't understand his feelings.

'Why am I so concerned about her? Why am I feeling nervous whenever I think of talking to her? I don't understand this feeling?' he asked himself

"Are you alright Sasuke?" Jugo asked Sasuke, he noticed that Sasuke's silence is different today

"It's nothing." he said cheaply

Hinata looked at her concerned. 'Is this really the Sasuke-kun we know that betrayed the village? He just want to kill his brother for the reason I don't know. Sasuke-kun is nice to me but the huge question running on my head is why does he have to act to be the bad guy in front of everyone if he is this nice. Maybe if I noticed him earlier I could have helped him.'

'No Hinata what are you thinking? He lied to you remember? He lied that you joined him with your own reason. He deceived you and I have a hint that it's because of your doujutsu.' she said to herself

'but I still can get stay angry at him. I don't think his doing this because he likes it. He just wants revenge that's all. But he's really nice. I just wish that Naruto-kun is here. I know he knew what to do to Sasuke-kun to save him from darkness.'

Kakashi's POV

We've arrived at the Kumogakure and asked the Hachibi about Sasuke's whereabouts. They said that they followed then after the fight and discovered the Akatsuki's base. But after that, they planned on attacking them but they already abandoned the place.

Akamaru and Kiba said that they really smell the scent of Hinata and Sasuke here.

I asked Neji if he can find them nearby but they are not here anymore. We tried searching the nearby towns but we still can't find them.

"Where are you Hinata?" Naruto said trying to find Hinata with his shadow clones

"Don't worry we'll find her." Yamato said

"Kakashi-sensei!" Ino yelled with Choji and Shikamaru

"What is it? Did you find anything?" I asked

"Yeah! We can find them at the next village I think, because we asked the citizens of this town if they saw them and they did. They were here yesterday Kakashi-sensei! We can find Hinata now!" Ino said cheerfully

"Really, Ino?" Naruto asked

"Yeah!" she nodded

"Good work! I'm going to call everyone else." I fired the red gunpowder at the sky to signal to re-group.

After a minute everyone went to our place and I told them Ino's info and we head out immediately.

"Neji can you see the town already?" I asked

"Ah! It's about 5 km from here." he said

"Yosh! Wait for us Hinata! We're coming to save you!" Naruto said pumped up

Hinata's POV

I suddenly felt relieve. I get a feeling that I am going to meet Naruto-kun soon. I just look from behind and wish that Naruto-kun is there.
