*Present*

I went into my apartment and found a mop in the closet so I broke off the mop head and went back. I then look around for tape and found some in the kitchen. I walked over to Hyun-su and he had grabbed a kitchen knife. I took both the swiffer handle and the knife and tapped them together. I pulled by duffel bag towards us so I can find something sharp aside from the machete to tape onto my mop handle. After finding nothing I started to tape the machete to the mop stick. I look out the window and see him old out another writing.

"If you make a call and leave the phone on it'll make a noise when a monster is near you" I nod and went back in and told Hyun-su. We plugged ear buds into our phones and made a call. I grabbed the duffle bags and tapped them together. I then remember the final message. 'Come when your mind is made up' I threw them onto my shoulder like a bow and we made our way towards his apartment, closing the door behind us.

We walk in and we take our shoes off at the door. We then the man from earlier. "My name is Han Du-sik" He says, introducing himself. "My name is Lee Y/n" I say softly. "I'm Cha Hyun-su" He whispers looking down. "Your both a little shy, huh?" He says looking at us. "How can we save the kids" Hyun-su asks. "Well, It's all on you both" he says. The then comes out from behind his desk and shows that he's wheelchair ridden. "Should I?" Du-sik asks. Hyun-su seemed shocked.

"I used to be a legend in Cheonggyecheon. You heard? They can build a tank as long as you have a blueprint." He says. Hyun-su and I look at each other, asking the other if they knew what he meant. With nothing to say we looked at him lost. "What that means is I can transform your little sticks into something more useful" He explains. I nod. "Hand me that thing." He says making Hyun-su confused. "Hand him your spear" I say softly. He then walks up to him with the knife end pointing at him which makes Du-sik move back a little. Hyun-su realizes his mistake and turns it around to hand him the safe end. He then set it on the desk and he got to work.

I then took off the duffel bags and opened the weapon one. I carefully set everything out and started to clean them so they would be ready to be used. "Are all of those yours?" Hyun-su asked softly. "Yeah. They were my parents weapons. Once I decided to move they packed them and hid them in my car. I don't know if my mom or brother will make it here" I say sadly. Hyun-su nods. Du-sik looks over and saw the amount of weapons I had. They were mostly guns so he said. "I can make silencers for those if you like" He offers. I nod. "That would be nice. Thank you" I say.

A little while later he finishes Hyun-sus' spear. I heard Du-sik call out to Hyun-su so I looks up and see him looking at an older photo of him when me was in the military. I then heard a taser and saw that it was Hyun-sus' new spear. "They still move around with their heads chopped off. A kitchen knife can't do the job. But this will do" he says. He then motions for me to hand him my spear so I handed him the safe end then he got to work. "You think...I can kill them with that thing?" Hyun-su asks. "Hyun-su. You can't kill the monsters. Remember the eyeball monster? Its body is still alive." I point out. He then hums in remembrance.

I then pull him hand and had him sit next to me. "You don't have to be sorry. You're in a state of shock and you have every right to be. But you can't ghost over important details." I say softly. He nods. I can tell he's tired so I put his head on my shoulder. "Get some rest." Was all I said before he was out like a light within seconds.
