"You're out of your mind" The old man says. "You brought a monster in here" He walked around Eun-hyuk and went straight to Hyun-su, ignoring the fact that I'm next to him with a spear. "Don't you dare turn. Got it? You crazy monster. Or I'll slice your throat myself" He says. I press the electric button on my spear to activate the electrifying noise while glaring at him.

I let the button go and pointed the sharp end towards the old man. "You stay the fuck away from him" I say as my left eye went gold. He freaked out and Eun-hyuk looked in my direction and didn't see it as my hair was covering my eye, making it only visible from the front. My goes back to normal as I brought my spear away from him. I grabbed Hyun-sus' hand and took him away from him. 

*Present*

I brought him to a hallway and told him everything. Even told him that my mom and brother made it. I told him everything about the old man and all the info about the other residents that I knew. He nods at everything I said, yet I saw that he was a little jealous that I had a family to live for. I called my mom and Min-suk over towards us.

"Mom, Min-suk, this is my friend, Hyun-su. Hyun-su, This is my mom and little brother, Min-suk" I say introducing each other to each other. They all shook hands and Min-suk took a liking to Hyun-su right away as he wanted to be held by him. He was only 4 so he was still young. Hyun-su hesitated as he still had blood on him. "Min-suk, wait" I say softly.

I went and got a rag and a bottle of water. I came back and poured some water onto the rag and began cleaning off the blood. I saw that Hyun-su was blushing due to how close we were which caused me to lightly blush. Mom didn't leave this go unnoticed. After a few minutes I finished cleaning off the blood.

Min-suk raised his hands to Hyun-su and he picked him up. I smiled at the sight. Min-suk had Hyun-su set him down then he grabbed Hyun-sus' hand and dragged him with him so they could play. Mom and I laughed at Hyun-su looked back.

Mom and I sat on a bench and she instantly said. "That's the boy you like. Isn't it" She asks. I blush and nodded. She then smiles. She looks over and says. "He's great with kids" This caused me to choke on my spit. "Mom what are you trying to say?" I ask her. She shrugs her shoulders and gives me a knowing look.

"Mom!" I whisper-shouted. She laughs and I lightly hit her arm. Eun-hyuk came and got my mom and I and lead us to where everyone else is at. I left a sticky-note with Min-suk that said "They don't know I'm infected so keep it on the downlow" and nodded towards him. I saw him hand the note to Hyun-su and he looked back at me. He nods towards me and I quickly gave him a smile and followed them.

"If you think we should expel Hyun-su. then go ahead and draw a O. And of you don't think we should, draw an X, Then put the paper in this box" He explains to everyone in this room. I tear up thinking about the fact that we are the deciding factor if Hyun-su lives or not. Mom saw this and wrapped a comforting arm around me.

"Obviously, he'll get kicked out. Why bother? Raise your hand. I want him out" The old man, who's name was Seok-hyeon, said. I glare at him. He then raised his hand a second after he said that. "Hands up. Hands up!" He looks around the room and sees no one else was raising their hands. "Raise your hand, you cow" He says to his wife. I ball my hand into a fist.

"Well, I don't" Eun-yu says as she walks over. "You're too young to vote" Seok-hyeon says. "This is about Hyun-sus' life and your getting upset and saying that she's too young to vote even though the world is ending?!" Mom says getting pissed. She then does a hand gesture that means 'Fuck bastards like you' in his face causing me to hold back my laughter.

I mask my emotions by a straight face as I grab my spear that was leaning on the wall and pressed the electrocution button. "Everyone shut the hell up and lets' just get this shit done and over with. Sorry mom" I say. She hums, her way of telling me silently that she understands. "To protect everyone's privacy this must be a secret ballot. Because expelling him would be taking place in murder" Eun-hyuk explains. I set my spear on the wall and grabbed my moms' hand.

Seok-hyeon then tries to convince everyone that voting him out isn't taking part in murder, and that it's just for survival. I've had enough. I grab my spear and place the blade on his hand, and pressed the button. Giving him a wake up shock.

"Shut the fuck up and sit down. Before I show you what another form of murder is" I whisper loud enough for everyone to hear. I went back over to mom and put my spear back leaned against the wall. Once Seok-hyeon had sat down the voting had started. 

After counting up the votes there were 9 in agreement and 8 opposed. "Nine of us voted yes, and 8 voted no" Seok-hyeon then rushed to the pile of votes that Eun-hyuk had just sat down to confirm the vote, which I roll my eyes at and my mom chuckled to.

"If one of the last two ballots is in favor, he'll be kicked out." He says. I lower my head at the thought, having to kick out the only person I've been with since the beginning, I would say it would hurt more than death.
