*Flashback*

I was in my room studying for my upcoming exam. My step-mom walks in. "Why are you studying?" She asks. I look over to her. "So I can pass the exam" I say softly. "You don't need to pass the exam. Just marry a rich guy" She says. "No I want to make my own money and live the way I want to." I say getting upset. I stand up and shoved her out of the room. I then locked my door and went back to studying. 

*Next flashback after divorce* *⚠⚠⚠*

My ex step-mom walks into the kitchen as I'm washing dishes and grabbed the back of my shirt and threw me to the floor. "This is all your fault!" She yells. I was alone in the house and she had a spare house key that we were unable to find. She pulled me up and threw me into the counter, causing me to fall to the floor in pain. "I was meant to stay with your father!" She yells. She grabbed a knife and pinned me to the floor.

"This is your fault" She then drags the knife from the elbow to the wrist, causing me to scream out in pain. She then made it branch off. She threw my right arm onto the floor and pinned it down with her knee. She lifted my left arm and carved, "It's all my fault" and "I'm not worth it". Suddenly red and blue lights lit up the room and police stormed in. They pulled her off me and two officers helped me up and took me to the hospital. Once we arrived I passed out from blood loss. ⚠⚠⚠

*Once you wake up*

I wake up and went to stretch when I see my arms. A nurse walked in and yelled for a doctor saying that I had woken up. The doctor helped me sit up and she reminded me of my evil step-mom so I tried to move away from her. She tried to hold me still but she looked too similar. "Get away from me! You were never my mother!" I yelled out.

This caused her to stop in shock and came to a conclusion that I was abused by someone that she reminded me of. She got a male doctor to take care of me as I tried to get away from every female that walked near me. After a few weeks he removed the bandaging and I looked at my arms with no emotion. 

*On the rooftop*

I'm standing on the roof and the doctor is next to me. "I'm sure you're aware of this but we have diagnosed you with depression and trauma. I'm sorry for-you're not sorry. If you were sorry you would be doing everything you can to help me fight this battle. But you just sit and monitor as people like me have to fight our internal battle that most of us can't fight without help" I say sadly. A few weeks later I was discharged from the hospital and was put on depression meds.

*Inner monster world*

I'm walking down a sidewalk when I notice that people that get near me disappear. Most of the lights then go out. "Isn't it great. What you wanted. Everyone in this world to disappear except those you love, didn't you?" Sorrow says. "You always thought 'fucking die' when your ex step-mom was around" She adds. "Why don't you fucking die? I can make everyone you hate disappear. I can do even more than that. I am you. All you have to do is accept that." She adds.

I was looking into her eyes when I felt a tug on my shirt, bringing me back to reality. "Hey, what's wrong" I then hear metal clang. I look around to see I moved up the stairs. I look at the door to see Hyun-su underneath it with a muscle monster behind him. All it said was "Protein." before punching the wall to make more room. 

"Yeong-su, help me!" The sister called out. They tried to pull him out but they weren't strong enough. As I go to help them the monster breaks through. I grab their hands and pull them behind me. I have them go onto higher stairs to keep them as far away from this monster as possible.

It reaches out for us then starts...struggling? I look down and see Hyun-su with black eyes while holding the monsters foot in place. "Go now! Hurry!" He yells. I grab their hands and we start heading up the stairs.

"Y/n noona, I'm scared. Is he dead?" Yeong-su asks. I stop and didn't react for a second. I then turn around and looked at him. I then crouched down. "I don't know, but one thing that I can ensure is that he's strong. Plus he promised y'all. He doesn't break promises" I say softly. "I'm scared" He says as tears fall down his face. I then hear water hitting a surface so I look around to see that Yeong-su had wet himself. "It's okay. I won't tell anyone. And I know. But you don't need too. I'll protect you both. I promise. Even if it means sacrificing myself" I say.

What I didn't know is that my eyes turned into a gold like color. I take their hands as as we start heading up the stairs the door in front of us opened and the monster with half its head cut off was shown. I then feel Su-yeong go behind me and cover her brothers' mouth and signalled him to be quiet. I softly smiled, proud that she remembered. The monster then holds out its hand, a sign of it being ready to attack. As it started to leave it scratched the wall.

I turn around and see Yeong-su struggling to not cry. I carefully go down the steps to be next to him and I take his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. I look at the both of them and signal them to be silent. They nod and I grab their hands. We then slowly start to make our way up when we hear a loud thud with a groan not long after. I turn around and see the protein monster.
