Valentina was getting ready for bed. When there was a knock at her door. "Come in." She sat on her bed as her dad opened the door.
"You ok?"
"Fine."
"I figured now that i am permanently back it was time we had a talk." He hadn't wanted to bring it up before but he knew it hadnt been the right time for it yet.
"Ok." Valentina nodded. She knew he had a point while she had loved getting to know him. There was more to it and they couldn't avoid it.
"You know i looked for you."
"I know Alyssa was just good at keeping me hidden." She knew the truth now and she knew Alyssa had only been trying to hurt her.
"I know she probably wasnt the best but-"
"She doesn't deserve the mom title anymore. She hid me from you from my brothers my entire life. She doesn't deserve credit. She was always distant i never realized why until i got here though." She went through the phase where she didn't understand why everyone hated her. But now after finally getting the truth and going back to all her memories with her mother. What she had always grew up thinking was only her mother giving her space. "She didn't want to get attached to the child she planned on selling away."
He went and sat next to her he felt bad that was the woman who raised her after all. "I dont want you to hate her."
"Dad just answer this for me did she try to sell me back to you for a huge price jusy because she knew that you would do pay anything to get me." Valentina understood and she had her reasons for hating her mom. And nothing would change that.
"Yes."
"Then she put that on herself and that is not anyone's fault but hers."
"Alright." He nodded. He guess she was right it was her decision and whatever she wanted to do he'd be fine with it. And he had never liked Alyssa anyways. The only connection to her he ever wanted was his daughter.
"She went through a lot to make sure that i came back." The only mom she wanted from now on was Elena. And she was going to need her brothers to fix their attitudes towards her asap. "You need to talk with your sons. Cause they weren't very kind to her and they still aren't."
"I'll talk to them." His wife definitely hadn't mentioned anything that their sons had been up too.
"Good."

Adriano was sitting with Sofia on his bed she was lying her head on his shoulder. "Do you need anything?"
Sofia shook her head she luckily didn't have to worry about grabbing her stuff Emilio said he'd handle that for her. "I have to call my cousin tomorrow. He's going to pack everything for me so that i can get it when my dad leaves."
"Worry about that another day. You barely ate." Adriano's phone vibrated in his pocket he looked at her. He was more worried about her eating than anything else.
Sofia covered her mouth slightly shaking her head. She knew that she had always had problems with eating but it was even worse now that she was pregnant. "Everything is making me sick to my stomach."
"Ok." Adriano took out his phone looking at the messages from his mom telling him to come downstairs. He stood looking back at her. "Get some sleep Sof."
"Where are you going?" Sofia asked confused. She didn't get why he suddenly was leaving the room.
"My mom wants to speak to me and my brothers. I'll be right back ok." He wasn't sure what his mom needed but he knew he was probably in trouble.
"Ok." Sofia nodded going to climb under the cover.
