"Fear is not evil.
It tells you what weakness is.
And once you know your weakness,
you can become stronger as well as kinder."

When the three person woke up, they were shocked to see the dark circles under Chiye's eyes. Subin immediately sat up, boldly cupping Chiye's face with concern.

“Dude, you okay? Why do you look like you didn't sleep a wink.”

Chiye was silent. Of course she looked like someone who didn't sleep a wink, because she didn't manage to sleep!

Pulling away from Subin, Chiye quickly stood up not caring even if the two were still leaning against her.

“I'm late for breakfast.” Chiye said, ignoring their words and quickly dissapearing into Inhyuk's office — which scared the man out of his wits. Of course, Chiye already managed to worm her way to Inhyuk's circle of protection. Given that she's Kartein's 'student' and that she's still basically a child, Inhyuk couldn't bear to turn the kid away and so, allows her to appear in his house to have breakfast and appear in Shinhwa to have lunch. Those were parts of Chiye's schedule whenever the three; Jisuk, Subin and Wooin, weren't at the hospital.

When Chiye returned, another person who she does not know was there. It's a girl with a dual-colored hair. The left side being black and the right being white. It made Chiye interested but she didn't asked anything about the other's hair. As a locked-up and isolated from the world person, she really wasn't the type to start conversation unless she felt uncomfortable.

She learned from Subin that the girl is named Iseul Ju. She's schoolmate with the others and came from a group called Mir, an organization filled with people who could communicate with animals. Subin even shared with great interest the fact that Iseul has a crush on Jiwoo, thus the reason why she's so worried upon her arrival.

No one has the heart to be so lively because of Jiwoo's situation but that didn't prevent any of them to get themselves acquaintanced with Chiye. Subin, especially, likes to stick with Chiye after she woke up from sleep.

Even Jisuk and Wooin. The three surround Chiye with no end, chattering with her and telling her how worried they are about Jiwoo's situation. Given the fact that Chiye is Kartein's apprentice, they thought Chiye would know a bit of information that could pacify their restless heart a little.

Unfortunately, Chiye shook her head. “I...don't know how long it'll last. Mr. Kartein said, it's really serious so it's normal to take so many days.”

That answer made everyone silent. Kayden didn't even bother to listen. He knew Kartein's abilities and he wouldn't have called for the other. Still, a broken core being fixed is unheard of even for Kayden.

Seeing everyone becoming gravely worried, Chiye felt so awkward since she doesn't know what to say. After all, she just came into this world. What exactly would she know about Kartein's abilities? Although he could indeed heal people and even proclaimed that he's the greatest awakened who's capable of bringing back someone who's one-step closer to death to life, those were just Kartein's words. As someone who's unfamiliar in the world of awakened people, how could Chiye understand what's happening?
