━───When the commotion ended, Chiye was quick to run away from the crowd circling around her. Of course, Jiwoo and the others was given an earlier noticed in order to avoid making any of them worry.
'How stressful.' Chiye thought to herself, leaning against one of the pillars in the Garden as she sat on the floor. She reached out and rubbed her temples, feeling a bit agitated and dizzy. The use of Limitless was making her head ache. Thankfully, she was trained on how to endure it and use her own curse technique to prevent more effects caused by Limitless.
"Oi. What the heck happened to you?" A low and cold voice spoke up.
Chiye was stunned for a moment after realizing there's someone nearby. A little surprised, she blinked her eyes under the bandages, and slowly look up. Seeing who it was, her eyes widened.
"Sucheon Kang." She whispered softly after her surprise faded.
The young man stood not far away from Chiye. His arms crossed over his chest, his face depicting a blank, emotionless expression as he looked down upon Chiye's curled form. A from visibly taking over that emotionless face a moment after.
"You look like shit." Sucheon started as he walked over, standing closer to Chiye. His pair of dark eyes stared blankly at Chiye with concern hidden underneath. "Surely you didn't get scared after fighting the 'radish' you kept insulting?"
Hearing those words being uttered so nonchalantly, Chiye somehow felt like it has some playful undertone in it. She chuckled, shaking her head softly before smiling. "Good joke."
The atmosphere quickly became peaceful and comfortable. It allowed Chiye to focus her mind on something else instead of the pain caused by the after effects of using Limitless. Her hand that's massaging her forehead moved to pushed back the hair that messily fell on her forehead, before she look up at Sucheon with a soft smile.
"How come you're out here?" Chiye's tone was both soft, asking Sucheon the reason why he would appear in the Garden that is usually devoid of people. For some unknown reason, the garden at the back of the school was rarely visited, given that the awakeners students doesn't like to stall too much time lazing around instead of training. If they were to take in a rest, it would always the garden in the front of the school where the ocean can be viewed.
