━───'It's too boring.' Chiye started to get sleepy watching the fight. She didn't know what to expect. It's not like Jiwoo would be fighting, so what is there to be excited about? Kayden is a veteran in fighting. It would be a shame into his name if he were to lose to a mere feline animal, is it?
Unfortunately, Kartein doesn't share the same opinion. For the elegant Kartein who has been turned into a white cat who looks malnourished, he would argue how difficult it is to use force control in a cat form. He tried it before with Jiwoo, only to fail miserably. If healing was already a tedious task to do, what more of fighting?
It was worth a shot to witness this.
"I think he'll just electrocute that kitty over there, like he did earlier." Chiye's tone was filled with boredom as she leaned into her seat, lazily tilting her head to rest it on the bench.
"It's not a kitty." Kartein carefully corrected his apprentice while enjoying his meow bites. The white cat was now sitting on the bench like a human, watching the on going fight with slight surprise. "That kid from the Luterain Family is pretty good too."
'Who cares if it's a kitty? It looks like a cat to me.' Chiye thought, her gaze focused on the ceiling instead of the fight. Her mind started to wander around certain things, one of it is whether she should start finding a way to go back to her world.
She hasn't been into this world for too long. Not even a month. But still, the more she stays here, the more reluctant she is in leaving.
Attachment is a scary thing.
She's already getting used to Kartein's care, to Kayden's blunt and annoying self and Jiwoo's brotherly and friendly treatment. The three was starting to work their way into her heart, slowly eating away the barrier she set up for herself.
