━───After leaving the hospital together with Kartein and Kayden, Chiye was pulled to the mall by Kartein under the astonished gaze of Kayden.
Kayden had to remind himself that he actually owes Kartein and he can't even forget that because that brat Chiye clearly knows he scammed Kartein with that cat changing ability.
"Aren't you busy?" Kayden couldn't help but ask.
Kartein should be busy studying that cat changing ability. So how come he has time to go shopping?
Kartein paused his actions of going into the car and turned to Kayden. Raising an eyebrow arrogantly, he stated bluntly. "My apprentice needs clothes, especially since we'll be staying here for a long time in order to heal your apprentice." after he said that, Kartein seemed to have realized something and the look on his eyes when he was looking at Kayden became sharp. "Which reminds me. Since that's the case, aren't you supposed to be the one providing for us?"
"What?" Kayden's eyebrow twitched and he smirked. "What? Can't even afford some damn clothes?"
Kartein sigh and shrug, "I do. But who makes you not afford a doctor who can treat your student that you have to rely on the great me? Or are you saying that after I gave my best to fix your apprentice's core, I still have to provide for the both of us? I can't let my apprentice suffer like that."
'So you should suffer a bit.', Kartein thought evilly inside his head while outside, his face was very serious that Kayden couldn't find any faults.
"I shouldn't have opened my mouth." Kayden cursed and took out a black card. "Here, take this. Now get the hell outta my sight."
Kartein caught the black card and smirked. He didn't say anything else and went inside the car where Chiye had been waiting.
It didn't take too long till both of them arrived in the biggest mall located in the city.
"...then, there's this kid named Megumi that my brother kidnapped once. He's too cute and small! He's a bit too serious though - he was frowning all the time." Chiye was sharing her life experience with Kartein about that certain time when Satoru brought back a kid named Magumi, whom Satoru claimed as a kid he kidnapped somewhere, when the car finally stopped at its final destination.
