━───The white haired snapped out of her compound emotions and looked at Kayden. Her eyes reflected the bright blue sky, like two beautiful sapphire gems glowing brightly under the sunlight, making Kayden stunned. It was so different from the dark bluish purple color her was familiar with, making him pause for a second before he frowned.
"Are you really Kartein's student?" He asked in doubt, approaching Chiye as he crossed his arms. "How did you block that attack? I'm pretty sure it hits you."
"No. You didn't hit me at all." Chiye answered simply.
Kayden was taken aback, "What?" he furrowed his brows, "What do you mean?"
He was sure he did.
"I said, you didn't hit me."Chiye stated bluntly and looking at Kayden's expression, she raised an eyebrow. "What? You suddenly can't understand Korean? I said, you didn't hit me. Anata wa watashi o nagutta wakede wa arimasen. Nǐ méiyǒu──"
"I understand what it means, you shitty brat. Hold your tongue for a second." Kayden stated angrily after being bombarded by four different languages, two of which he can understand while the other two, he can't. He pinched his nose bridge and sigh, "I'm asking why you're saying I didn't hit you when I clearly did."
"I also said that you didn't hit me, aren't you listening?"
"I clearly did."
"You didn't."
"I said I did!"
"And I'm saying you didn't!"
The two argued back and forth before Kayden got annoyed and glared, "Why are you saying you didn't?! I aimed it right at you! I'm injured but I'm not blind and I can aim right!"
Chiye sighs in exasperation and pointed at her hand, "What you hit is something called 'Infinity' that exists between you and me, a space barrier of some sort."
"Ha?"
Kayden stared at her small hand and frowned. Infinity? The black haired man doesn't understand and Chiye could read his deadpanned expression and click her tongue, criticizing Kayden. If she said this to Kartein, she was sure her teacher would quickly understand.
