━───As Chiye walked towards Jiwoo and the others, a dissatisfied and disbelieving voice stopped her.

"Hold on for a second!"

Chiye gave a sideways look at the source of that unconvinced tone of voice. Seeing that it was that professor from the World Awakeners Academy, Chiye rolled her eyes underneath the bandages and decided it would be best to ignore this person, else she wouldn't be able to hold herself back from taking out her sword which, under Kartein's strict orders, must not be brought out.

The professor became skeptical at Chiye's attitude. The shock mixed with rage couldn't be contain any longer as she glared fiercely at Chiye. "I said wait a second! Are you blatantly showing disrespect? Even if I'm not a teacher in this school, I'm still a senior. Learn to show respect!"

Chiye's mood was peaceful as she stopped walking for a short moment. Even though she was being yelled at and being called disrespectful, it doesn't matter to her. After all, those kinds of titles are something common from the mouth of her relatives.

So, she spoke tranquilly. "I respect the worthy on the premise that the other person is worthy of respect regardless of age."

The professor was rendered speechless. It was already hard to accept that Duke lost. One of the top ten in their Academy, the World Awakeners Academy, lost to a pipsqueak from Korea! What would be the disastrous result once the words get out? No. The real problem is how she's going to report this kind of result once she gets back!

At this very moment, the professor desired nothing but to burn Chiye and give her a lesson she would never forget, but before she could even do something, she realized that she didn't have any way of hurting, or even touching, that damn girl Chiye.

She can't even try to land an attack, because Inhyuk from Shinhwa as well as the other teachers suddenly appeared, standing straight around Chiye like some kind of protection wall.

Inhyuk Goo, who is known as the right-hand of Shinhwa, was smiling serenely yet despite the serenity of his smile, the aura he's exuding was enough to indicate that he's ready to fight should anyone dare to lay a hand on Chiye. "I'm sorry for our student's attitude. She wasn't in the brightest of mood."

"What?" The professor gritted her teeth, completely offended. However, Inhyuk wasn't the least bit bothered by the anger of outsiders. He was bound to stand tall and protect the students at all cost, especially Chiye.

"Announcements aren't really necessary..." Inhyuk started, his smile widening. "But nevertheless, I would like to announce it."

Saying that, Inhyuk raised his hand and was silent for a moment, before grinning and loudly announcing with undeniable pride in his voice.

"Gojo Chiye, wins!!"

Everyone was silent for two seconds before the Korean Awakened Academy burst into loud screams and cheers.

"She won!! Hahaha! Chiye wonn!!" Subin happily screams, her eyes twinkling as she pulled the person beside her, which is Jiwoo, in a tight hug.

Jisuk also cheered loudly. "Damn, that was epic!!"

The other students also cheered wildly. It doesn't matter whether Chiye just came into their academy for like a week or so. That wouldn't stop them from loudly cheering.

"She's one of our own!!"

"Wohoo! That was amazing!"

"It was spectacular!"

Seated in the corner, Kayden was staring blankly at the aftermath of the fight. As someone who has been fighting all his life, it was hard not to feel a bubbling thirst after witnessing such a fight.

'She's younger than Jiwoo...' Was the first thought that entered Kayden's mind as he clenched his paw, his cat eyes dilate. 'But the way she fights is hard to read. That's not the way awakeners fight... it's not how a usual fight happens...No. It doesn't feel right at all. I don't know what's wrong, but something isn't right...'

"Kartein." Kayden couldn't contain the heaviness in his tone of voice. "Who the hell is that brat?"

The question was odd. Kartein raised his golden eyes and look at Kayden blankly, unamused at the fact that this battle maniac is asking who Chiye is. "Have you gone completely stupid? That's my apprentice."

"That's not what I meant!" Kayden hissed.

'Who really is that kid?' was the real question behind Kayden's question. Who was she before she became Kartein's apprentice? There's no way she became that powerful under Kartein's teaching! There's no similarities at all!

Kayden's eyes moved towards Chiye who was pulled by Subin, hair being ruffled by Jisuk.

Subin couldn't help the extreme exhilaration from Chiye's victory that she pulled the young girl in a tight embrace. "That was so amazing! Come give your unnie a hug!!"

Being pulled so suddenly without warning, Chiye was stunned. However, she quickly reacted and disactivated the Limitless curse, removing the barrier around her just in time before she hits Subin's body, being enveloped completely in a warm embrace.

Jisuk, who also joined in, placed a hand atop Chiye's head and started messing her hair out of excitement. "That looks hella epic! I knew you were hiding your thunder!"

"Chiye, you were so amazing!" Jiwoo also joined the hug, pulling along Wooin as he grinned happily while praising Chiye, feeling a sense of stimulation from the way the students from Korean Awakened Academy cheer and chant Chiye's name endlessly.

Everyone jumped out of the benches and also head straight to Chiye, joining the fun and singing praises for the young girl.

Meanwhile, the Principal of Korean Awakened Academy watched at the hidden corner, hand clenched into a fist.

'That young girl has extreme talents. I'm sure not even Kayden could show such an amazing showcase in her age.'

"Such a monster. Kartein is actually raising this kind of child, of all people." Seongik Han let's out a breath he didn't know he was holding before placing a hand on his forehead, chuckling softly in amusement. "Well, it's not a bad thing. Perhaps, the deal brought more benefit than expected. It's worth it."

The principal gazed down at the students who showed a complete unity, cheering for their victorious comrade and having a type of enjoyment that can only be seen by a genuine group that is united.

Seeing this kind of scene, Seongik Han smiled.

'Yes. Definitely worth it.'
