───‘Her eyes...’ Kayden was stupefied, to be honest. Although he's a brash and excellent man who always starts something reckless like a fight to death, he also knew how to appreciate beauty and the one he's seeing right now belongs to the category of beauty.
Chiye's body is still tense from the creping fear she experienced from her nightmare. Her hands were shaking as she push back the fallen bandages over her eyes, keeping it there by holding it. The thought of tying it again could not be place into action because her body is still in a state of fear. It felt like her body weighs a thousand gallons.
“Mr.Kayden...get off of me.” Chiye whispered weakly, feeling more heavy because of Kayden's cat form which is now sitting on her lap.
Hearing what she just said and listening to her tone, Kayden who was immersed in the uniqueness of Chiye's eyes became offended. He scoffed and jump down, jumping up again into another sofa.
“How're you feeling?” Kayden asked then did not hesitate to inquire about Chiye's hidden eyes. “Was that part of your awakened ability? How does those eyes of your work? Looks like Kartein didn't take you in without a reason.”
Chiye didn't answer. Laying back down again, she forces herself to relax. The soft sofa against her body made her sigh before she pulled away the thin bandages which covered her eyes. “Where's Mr.Kartein?”
“Out.”
“Where is out?” Chiye emphasized the word, wanting to know the exact and specific location so she could go out and find the man. Instead of staying here with the curious cat form of Kayden, she'd rather prefer to be around Kartein.
What's more, she couldn't ask Kayden about anything. It was still Kartein who she trusted.
Kayden felt like there was a meaning in that question based on Chiye's tone. He dismissed it as Chiye being a clingy apprentice, always hanging around Kartein.
