━───The very next day, Chiye visited Sucheon to share(steal) breakfast with. Sucheon was packing his clothes while Chiye was sitting on the sofa near the window, a plate of friend rice, fried egg and kimchi in hand.
“Do you guys always spend so little time in this place? I thought schools takes half of the students life.” Chiye inquired curiously, since she's never been to a real, normal school. She set aside the kimchi in her plate, not yet used to the taste of it before biting into the fried egg using her chopsticks.
Sucheon rolled his eyes, glancing at the white haired girl who's currently eating his breakfast. “You always ask the most stupid questions. The purpose of this 'school' is to strengthen the young awakeners of South Korea. Why are you even asking? Didn't Shinhwa inform you about this before you entered this academy?”
“Why would they?”
It's not like Shinhwa was responsible for bringing her in. Kartein took care of all the 'procedures' of her enrollment and who knew what kind of deal he struck with the school Principal.
Chiye ate half of Sucheon's breakfast before placing it at the table, leaving some for him before she took out a napkin, wiping her lips.
‘Free food always taste good.’ Chiye thought, considering her actions as a friend's bonding. After all, she's been reading about friendships and learned sharing food is something friends do. When she read that, she realized that she already had done that when she first stayed in Sucheon's room since he(reluctantly and without a choice) shared his dinner with Chiye.
Chiye, “When do you think the school will require us to go back? Are you going home to Baekdu immediately? Is it by plane or ship?”
Sucheon zipped his bag, “Fuck off.”
Taking no offense, Chiye grinned, “Well?”
“Tsk...” Sucheon sigh, “Probably a month or so. I'm going back straight to Baekdu by a cruise ship.”
‘It's not like I have anywhere else to go.’Sucheon thought. His family doesn't have a 'home' or a house because they directly live in the Baekdu Headquarters for easy access to the training room. The only one who has a house to go to is his grandfather, who's now missing, because he no longer needs to manage Baekdu or train in the headquarters.
