Can I be happy?

Chapter 34

Izuku woke up cuddled onto the sheets of his parents bed with a soft sigh, his dads weren't there and a glance at the clock revealed it was already twelve o'clock, Izuku rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and slowly sat up in bed.

He stood from the bed and opened the curtains, It was bright out and the sun was hot as it shone down on Izuku's skin, Izuku walked over to his dads closet and walked in looking for a jumper, he smiled when he found the bright pastel pink jumper Yamada always wore on the weekends.

He quickly removed his shirt and put on the jumper, it was so huge on him that it stopped just under his knees, he giggled and walked over to the door so that he could go find his parents.

He walked out into the hall and paused when he heard a familiar voice, when he realized it was Kaminari he gasped, that meant Hitoshi was home, Izuku grinned and ran down the stairs, he reached the bottom of the stairs and spotted his brother standing next to the window.

Izuku ran over to him and tackled him into a hug, Hitoshi grunted but managed to catch Izuku, he smiled and kissed Izuku's cheek "hey Izuku, did you have a good sleep?" He asked running his fingers through Izuku's hair.

Izuku nodded happily and kissed his brothers cheek, Hitoshi let Izuku down and smiled when he began signing "I missed you, when did you get home? Can we cuddle?" Izuku asked, Hitoshi laughed and pulled Izuku over to the couch.

Izuku realized that not only was Kaminari here, Bakugou was too, Izuku gave Kaminari a small hug to which the boy gladly accepted, then he sat next to Katsuki with his brother next to him, Aizawa was sitting on the recliner with Yamada in his lap.

Izuku grinned at his parents before turning to his brother "why are Kami and Kachan here?" He asked in confusion, Hitoshi gave Izuku a sad smile and pulled him closer to his side.

"I thought it would be nice for us to go out today, dad and papa are going to get Arco cremated for you and i wanted you to have some fun, Kaminari wanted to come because he knows how much Arco meant to you, Bakugou heard and asked to come because he wanted to be here for you"

Izuku had tears in his eyes and he wrapped his arms around Hitoshi's neck, he was so thankful to have such a kind and loving brother, plus the idea of having what he heard was a "double date" had him exited.

Izuku knew Arco wouldn't want him to stay gloomy and frightened, he pulled away from the hug and then stood up "lets go, we can get some cake and go shopping" he sighed in excitement, Hitoshi laughed along with the others in the room.

Bakugou stood up and gently slid his hand into Izuku's, Izuku blushed but intertwined their fingers together, Aizawa and Yamada watched in amusement, Izuku was adorable.

Bakugou grinned down at the beauty and then looked towards the boys parents "we'll keep him safe, if anyone gets close I'll blast em to hell" he stated with a smirk, Yamada smiled as Aizawa smirked and spoke.

"You better, if anyone asks I'll tell them you have permission to use your quirk" Bakugou nodded with a smile while Yamada shook his head at his husband "Ok well, we will be back later. I'll keep my phone on and keep you updated, love you bye" Hitoshi said grabbing Kaminari's hand and pulling him towards the door.

Kaminari smiled and yelled a goodbye to his crushes parents, Izuku walked over to his parents and gave them kisses on the cheek, he still had a hand in Bakugou's so he mimed an "I love you"

His parents smiled and said it back as Izuku led Bakugou to the front door, Hitoshi and Kaminari were stood hand in hand waiting, Izuku quickly tugged Bakugou over to them and smiled "can we go get food? I'm hungry" Izuku signed.

Bakugou frowned as Izuku had removed his hand from his, he huffed and wrapped his arm around Izuku's shoulders, Izuku looked up and gave a shy smile leaning closer to the teen.

"Sure Izuku, we can get some bacon batches from the cafe up the road" Kaminari said bouncing in excitement, Hitoshi chuckled kissing the blond on the cheek, Kaminari squeaked and flushed dark red.

Izuku giggled at the two before walking towards the cafe, Bakugou kept hold of Izuku as Kaminari and Hitoshi followed them, they all got some food as well as some bottled water and enjoyed their walk to the mall.

Izuku was looking forward to spending some more time with his friends and the boy he has a crush on, Izuku lent his head on Bakugou's chest wrapping his arms around his waist, most of the time during the groups hang outs Izuku would cuddle up to the boy.

They had a lot in common and Bakugou knew sign, Izuku just felt comfortable around him, and Bakugou was so sweat to him, the shopping trip was fun, Izuku bought a couple of plushie's he thought were cute.

Hitoshi got a bunch of new jumpers, Kaminari found a Pikachu onesie and Bakugou bought few piercings for his ears, Izuku helped him put them in and smiled at the green jewels "They look really nice Kachan" Izuku signed with a smile.

Bakugou grinned then turned to Hitoshi and Kaminari "Hey, is it alright if i take Izuku for a bit. We can meet up in about twenty minutes?" He asked giving the two boys a look, Hitoshi and Kaminari chuckled and nodded in agreement.

"Have fun, don't leave his side and make sure the guard can see you at all times" Hitoshi stated pointing the guard, he was supposed to be hidden but all four of them could see him, Izuku giggled and kissed Hitoshi and Kaminari on the cheek.

"Aww i wish i had a little brother, Izuku you're so cute" Kaminari whined leaning into Hiroshi with a pout, Izuku smiled at the complement "I can be your little brother, Hitoshi will be my favourite though" Izuku signed.

Kaminari had gotten much better at sign since meeting Izuku, he grinned and hugged Izuku tightly "yay! thank you, and don't worry Hitoshi is my favourite person too" Kaminari said with a wink, Izuku silently laughed and hugged Bakugou again.

They all went separate ways and Bakugou led Izuku to the fountain in the middle of the mall, they sat on a bench close by and sat with their hands linked, Izuku was curious to know what Bakugou wanted to do, he could see the boy was a little nervous.

He really didn't know what could have had him so nervous, Izuku gave Bakugou an encouraging smile "is everything ok? You look nervous" Izuku signed with a concerned expression, Bakugou sighed and tried to build up his courage.

He turned to fully face Izuku and took the boys hands into his, looking into Izuku's innocent green eyes he took a deep breath "listen Izuku, i like you a lot, you're so cute, you are so kind and sweet, whenever i saw you watching me on the beach it made my day.

I loved how you blushed and ran off, you're so shy and adorable, I know that you are focused on that man and trying to get into UA, that's why i wanted to take things slow. We can hang out like we always do but when we get our acceptance letters..

I was wondering if we could maybe try dating? You are the most amazing person I've met and i would love to be your boyfriend some day" Izuku stared at Bakugou with wide eyes, Izuku definitely liked Bakugou.

He loved spending time together with him, having the boy he liked confess his feeling had Izuku's heart pounding, how could this be happening, a bright smile made it's way onto his face as he launched himself at Bakugou.

He hugged him tightly and heard the teen sigh in relief, Izuku pulled away from the hug and blushed "I like you too Kachan, i would love to be your boyfriend one day. Maybe we can try dating now and if we get into UA make it official?" Izuku signed hopefully.

Bakugou smiled cupping Izuku's cheek in his hand "sounds perfect" he muttered with a soft smile, Izuku grinned and leaned into the hand 'i don't think I've ever been so happy'
