Can I be happy?

Chapter 33

Aizawa had called Yamada and Tsukauchi the second he was able to, it took him ten minutes after he found Izuku to call them, any time he shifted even a little, Izuku would cling to him tighter and whimper, he had to admit he was glad that Izuku felt comfortable with him.

He was happy to know Izuku felt like he could rely on him, he just wished it wasn't such a bad situation that had bought this side of him out, when Izuku had finally stopped crying Aizawa covered Arco with the blanket.

He picked up Izuku and walked down the stairs, he sat on the couch with Izuku burying his face in his neck while sniffling, Aizawa knew it wouldn't take too long for Yamada to come home.

The second Aizawa told him what happened the phone was hung up on him, Yamada was probably running red lights to get home, Aizawa glared at the wall as Izuku muttered non stop "dad.. want papa.. I'm scared.. dad.. where's Hito?" Izuku whined.

He wanted his family, even if he had his dad he needed to know his family was safe, Aizawa pulled Izuku closer kissing his head "it's ok Izuku, papa will be home soon. Toshi is staying at a friends while the police search the area. You're safe Izuku, I'm here" Izuku relaxed at his dad's words.

Even if he still felt scared he knew his parents would protect him, Izuku wrapped his arms around Aizawa's neck and smiled "I love you dad" Aizawa smiled down at Izuku and cupped his cheek, he brushed away the stray tears that fell down his cheeks.

"I love you too, we all love you so much ok?" He said lovingly, Izuku sniffed and nodded his head, just then the door slammed open and a frantic Yamada ran into the room, Izuku quickly reached his arms out for him "papa" Izuku whined.

Yamada rushed over to his son scooping him up in his arms "oh my poor baby, I'm so sorry. Everything will be ok i promise" he muttered into Izuku's hair as he snuggled into Yamada's arms.

Izuku smiled and closed his eyes, he felt much safer now that he had both his dads with him, Yamada sat next to Aizawa and lay his head on the mans shoulder, he had been absolutely terrified when Aizawa called.

The second he heard that Hisashi had somehow escaped jail and made it to their house his heart dropped, he didn't know how the man got a hold of Arco but he knew Izuku would be crushed, Arco had been Izuku's only form of comfort for years, she had been with him since he was a child.

Now that she had been taken from him they knew Izuku would feel sad, the family sat cuddled up together for another twenty minutes before Tsukauchi turned up, Aizawa had let the man in while Yamada kept Izuku in his lap.

Aizawa and Tsukauchi walked into the room where Izuku glanced up, Aizawa sat next to Yamada pulling Izuku's legs into his lap, Izuku smiled and reached his hand out, Aizawa held his hand rubbing circles on his skin.

Tsukauchi took a seat on one of the single chairs and offered a calm smile before speaking "unfortunately we've had no sign of Hisashi, we have looked around this entire block but no luck, Apparently his cellmate stabbed him so that he could be sent to a hospital.

While he was there he escaped, we assume he came right here since it was so soon after his escape that we got the call about him, my people will be placed around the house and i will have a bodyguard sent for Izuku.

I just need to know what happened is that ok?" He asked looking at Izuku. Izuku looked up at his dad's who nodded their heads, he sighed and leaned into his papa's chest "can i sign please?" He asked worried that he might be forced to speak.

Yamada smiled and pecked Izuku's cheek "Of course Izuku, Tsukauchi knows sign so don't worry" Izuku glanced at the man who had a calming aura around him, Tsukauchi smiled nodding his head, with a sigh Izuku looked down at his lap and began signing.

"The entire day i had a feeling i was being watched, i didn't know why but it was getting worse as the day past, I got too nervous so i went to my room to have a nap, Arco stayed in her corner" Izuku paused as he recalled what had happened.

His dad's cuddled him and whispered calming words to him, Izuku smiled and continued while the detective wrote down what he was saying "I woke up an hour later in a panic, i was scared and something felt wrong, i just didn't know what.

I went to find Arco but i couldn't find her. I looked everywhere and she was nowhere in sight. When i got back upstairs.. i heard a sound on the window, like when someone throws a pebble"

Izuku's lip trembled as the next scene played in his head but he pushed on "The sound got louder, i was scared but i just needed to look. When i looked outside i saw him. He was staring at me with the same smile he always had before he hurt me, i wanted to call dad or papa but..."

Izuku's hands shook as tears slipped down his cheeks "He pulled his hand from behind is back and.. he had her in his hand. He threw her on the floor to stand on her but i took her away" Izuku stopped signing and snuggled his face into his papa's chest.

Yamada stroked his hair pressing kisses on his chubby cheeks, Tsukauchi nodded but looked at Izuku in confusion "you said you took her away? Can you explain a little more?" Izuku hesitated.

He had never explained or showed his quirk to anyone, the only person who knew was Hisashi "I used my quirk" he signed watching as everyone froze "what is your quirk?" Tsukauchi asked calmly.

Izuku gave the man an apologetic look and shook his head, he couldn't tell anyone, not before he told Hitoshi like he promised. Tsukauchi sighed but nodded his head, he wasn't going to force the child, especially after what he's been through.

Izuku's dad's spoke some more with the detective while Izuku zoned out, he didn't pay attention to what they spoke about, he just enjoyed the comfort of cuddling his parents.

Soon enough Aizawa showed out the detective and slumped onto the couch tired, Yamada chuckled and put Izuku on Aizawa's lap standing up "I'll make us all some food, after that would you like to call Hito?"

Izuku smiled and nodded his head "I want to" he whispered much to the surprise of his dad's, Yamada smiled bending down to rub his nose against Izuku's, Izuku giggled and pushed his papa away leaning into Aizawa, Yamada skipped off to make some food.

Izuku leaned his side on Aizawa's chest, Aizawa hugged Izuku while stroking his back comfortingly, Izuku almost fell asleep, the family ate together while Izuku sat between his papa and dad.

Yamada actually fed Izuku because Izuku was just so sad and upset to do anything, after they ate Aizawa called Hitoshi, they decided on a video chat in case Izuku didn't want to speak, when Hitoshi answered he smiled at his little brother.

"Izuku sweetie, how are you? I'm sorry i can't be there for you but I'll take you out tomorrow" he said causing Izuku to beam at him, Izuku was exited to spend the day with his brother.

"Mm, i miss you Hito" Izuku whispered in excitement, Hitoshi felt his heart squeeze at his adorable little brother, he wished he could give him a hug but he knew it was better to wait, they all spoke for a while longer.

At some point Kaminari came to say hello, Izuku invited the boy to come over with Hitoshi, he liked Kaminari and he was happy to get to know him more, when they hung up the phone it was time for bed.

Aizawa and Yamada got ready but Izuku's nervous shifting had them confused "what is it baby?" Yamada asked concerned, Izuku blushed and held onto his dad's hand.

"Can i sleep with you" Izuku asked softly, both men heard the fear in his tone, they happily let Izuku cuddle up to them while they slept.
