Can I be happy?

Chapter 42: END

"IZUKU, HITOSHI YOUR LETTERS FROM U.A ARE HERE!!!" Yamada screamed, the boys shot up from the bed where they had been snuggling up watching a movie.

They looked at each other with their mouths agape before rushing downstairs, when they reached the living room their parents were laughing at their dishevelled appearance, Izuku beamed and ran over jumping into Aizawa's lap.

The man grunted at the force but soon smiled, Hitoshi rushed over and sat next to Yamada, they were handed their letters and took deep breaths, the boys ripped open the letters and began reading their letters, Izuku squealed and bounced on his dads lap.

"I got in, i got in. dad, papa I'm going to be a hero. Hito what about you?" Izuku looked at his brother with hope, Hitoshi looked up with a blank face "I got in too, class 1A" he smirked, Izuku and Yamada began screaming in happiness.

Yamada stood up and put on music as loud as it would go, Izuku smiled and stood too, the two began singing and dancing around while Aizawa and Hitoshi watched with loving expressions, Yamada grinned at his adorable son and scooped him up into his arms.

Izuku yelped and pouted up at him "I'm so so proud of you baby, my sweet boy. I love you so much" he whispered as tears stung his vision, Izuku froze at the sincere confession, Izuku's bottom lip trembled as he sniffed.

"I love you too papa, I'm going to be a really cool hero and protect you and dad like you did for Hitoshi and i" Izuku stated, Yamada let out a sound between a chuckle and cry leaning his head against Izuku's, to think just over ten months ago he didn't even know about Izuku.

But now he couldn't live without him, In fact, most of the people Izuku has met would say the same, Izuku has brightened up the lives of everyone around him, of course it goes both ways, Izuku was so incredibly happy that he had met his family.

The family spent the morning celebrating, they had a nice family breakfast, Aizawa and Yamada gave both boys a congratulations present, Hitoshi got his very own capture weapon, when he saw it he actually let out a squeal.

He tried to brush it off but the blush he had did not help, Izuku's gift was different, they gave him a necklace, the charm on it was a small silver bird, his parents told him it was in honour of Arco, it even had a small portion of her ashes inside it.

Izuku cried as he hugged his parents, he thanked them over and over again, by the time lunch rolled around Izuku had gotten a text from Bakugou, he said he got his letter and wanted to meet up with Izuku so they could talk about the results.

Izuku had happily agreed and quickly gotten dressed, Hitoshi decided to walk with him since he was meeting Kaminari too, they gave their parents goodbye hugs and kisses and left the house with smiles, while walking Izuku smiled holding his brothers hand.

"We're going to be hero's Hito" Izuku muttered, Hitoshi looked down and grinned, he and Izuku both knew how much this meant, they had always been told it was impossible, now that they were really going to become hero's they were so happy.

Izuku gasped and let out a happy squeal as he ran up to Bakugou, the blonde saw him and smirked, he hugged Izuku's waist and dug his head into the crook of his neck, Hitoshi chucked and walked over.

"I'll see you later Izuku, take care of him for me" he said the last part looking at Bakugou, he rolled his eyes but nodded anyway, Hitoshi kissed Izuku's cheek and left, Izuku grinned at Bakugou and started rocking back and forth on his feet.

"You got in right? I got in Kachan. I'm in class 1A with Hito" he rambled happily, Bakugou smiled and cupped Izuku's cheeks forcing eye contact, Izuku paused and calmed down lifting his hands to lay them over Bakugou's.

"I got in too beautiful, we will be in the same class it seems, I'm so glad you got in, i didn't doubt you for a second" he spoke softly, Izuku smiled and felt his face heat up, Izuku traced each of Bakugou's features, he was so handsome.

"Izuku" Bakugou muttered, Izuku locked eyes with him and made a questioning noise, Bakugou sighed with a hint of a blush on his face "I know it's soon, we've only just got accepted but.. I want to make this official.

i love you Izuku. I know that i won't find someone as incredible as you, so please will you... be my boyfriend?" He asked with a worried expression, Izuku gave a wide smile and jumped up and down.

"Yes, yes i want too. I love Kachan so much, i want to be boyfriends" he squealed in happiness, he was so glad Bakugou loved him too, Bakugou held in his shock when Izuku spoke out loud and chuckled gently pulling Izuku into his chest.

Izuku rested his chin on his chest looking up at him with a smile, Bakugou hesitated but brushed his thumb over Izuku's cheek, Izuku leaned into the touch "You can say no if you want but.. can i give you a kiss?" He asked nervously.

Izuku's face flushed red as he slowly nodded, he was nervous but he did want to kiss Bakugou, he loved him after all, Izuku watched as Bakugou leaned forward, their eyes never strayed from each others, Bakugou stopped when their noses touched.

He still had one hand on Izuku's cheek while they other rested on his waist, Bakugou closed his eyes and waited, he wanted to let Izuku be the one to close the distance, he wanted Izuku to go at his own pace, he would never rush him.

Izuku realized what he wanted and slowly leaned in needing to get on his tip toes, their lips lightly brushed against each other and Izuku let out a shaky breath before fully meeting the blonds lips, their lips slowly came together, they fit perfectly and Izuku almost gasped at the softness.

Izuku felt his body relax as he melted into the feeling, Bakugou softly held Izuku's waist so he didn't fall, they only kept their lips pressed together for a moment, neither was ready for anything more but it was a moment neither of them would ever forget.

It was the moment they really connected, they pulled away from the kiss and gazed into each others eyes for a moment, finally Izuku smiled and lay his cheek on Bakugou's chest, the blonde held him close with a smile.

'The hag would die if she saw me like this' he thought with a smile, he looked down and bit his lip when he saw the goofy grin on Izuku's face, he just kept getting more and more adorable "Izuku? Do you want to go to the beach?" Bakugou asked.

Izuku looked up at his new boyfriend and smiled, he nodded his head happily since he has always loved the beach, Izuku and Bakugou walked to the beach hand in hand, Izuku spoke out loud but he signed if he saw anyone close by.

When they reached the beach they sat on the bench looking at the view, Izuku hesitantly sat in Bakugou's lap and snuggled into him, Bakugou didn't mind and held him close with a soft smile, Izuku glanced around realizing nobody was around.

"This is where i first saw you Kachan, you were so handsome" Izuku whispered with a small laugh, Bakugou chuckled and looked down at his boyfriend with a fake pout.

"Am i not handsome anymore? So mean" Izuku laughed and poked the blonds cheek, Bakugou grinned leaning down to kiss Izuku's cheek, they smiled at each other as they gazed into each others eyes.

Izuku wrapped his arms around Bakugou's neck and pressed their heads together "I love you" he whispered with a smile, Bakugou looked at Izuku with love in his eyes.

"I love you too, i can't wait for us to become hero's together" he said softly, Izuku hummed leaning against Bakugou's chest, the new couple watched the sun as it slowly began to set.

Izuku was so thankful for everything that had happened to him, he was so glad he had a family, a boyfriend, friends, he had people that truly loved and wanted him, and he would never take that for granted.
