Can I be happy?

Chapter 38

They had been at the beach house for five days now, Izuku and Aizawa took an hour out of each day to continue reading, during that time Yamada and Hitoshi would swim in the ocean amongst other things.

Izuku also started helping Yamada out in the kitchen, he had always wondered how to make the things he ate, he enjoyed cooking with his papa, and he loved getting into food fights too, Aizawa seemed to dislike the idea since it left the kitchen in a mess.

Izuku always made sure to clean up afterwards though, Hitoshi and Izuku continued to play pranks on their parents, just yesterday the boys put semi permanent green dye in Yamada's hair, it was Izuku's idea.

He wanted his papa to look just like him so they dyed the ends of his hair, he didn't seem to mind when he woke up and saw the change, since it was so fun Hitoshi didn't even question where Izuku had gotten the hair dye.

Izuku had used his quirk in secret, today however, the boys had other plans, Instead of playing a prank on their dads, the boys wanted to give them a nice surprise.

That's why the boys are currently sitting on their bed with snacks gathered around them trying to think of a nice idea, they didn't know what kind of thing they would like but Hitoshi seemed to have the perfect idea.

"I know! Lets plan them a date" he said with a proud smirk on his face, Izuku smiled and quickly agreed "ok but somewhere quite because dad will prefer that" Izuku sighed, Hitoshi nodded his head thoughtfully and pulled out his phone.

Izuku peered over his shoulder and watched him search for a place their parents could go, it took a while but he soon clicked on a sight that looked promising, It was a normal restaurant except you could pay for a private room that could be locked.

Hitoshi and Izuku looked at each other and grinned "it's perfect" Izuku said with a happy dance, Hitoshi chuckled and quickly began to make a reservation, he froze and looked at Izuku "how are we paying? We can't use their money" he frowned thinking their plans were ruined.

Izuku giggled and ran over to his bag, he pulled out his wallet and jumped back onto the bed "I've been saving the money dad and papa give us so i can pay" he signed showing Hitoshi the chunk of money, Hitoshi gaped at the money and quickly counted it.

There was a lot, there was enough to pay for the dinner and even more, he smiled and hugged Izuku "I'll pay you back half of it, we can go to the restaurant and pay but I'll put the reservation in now" Hitoshi quickly went back to his phone and made sure they knew he would come in with the money.

Izuku smiled and watched in silence as Hitoshi typed away on his phone, Izuku suddenly gasped "Flowers!!" He exclaimed wide eyed, Hitoshi looked at him in confusion so Izuku elaborated.

"People always get flowers on dates, we can't not get them. What should we do?" Izuku asked, Hitoshi hummed and thought for a moment, it was true that people need flowers when going on a date, It's basically a law.

Hitoshi perked up and looked at Izuku "We can get the, flowers from us. We will give it them before we send them off" he said in excitement, Izuku grinned at the idea.

"yes! Ill get the flowers while you take the money, when we get back home we can help our dads get ready. Who do you want to help?" Izuku sighed rapidly, Hitoshi nodded and both boys laughed in excitement, they couldn't wait to surprise their dads.

Izuku stood up and dragged Hitoshi with him as they rushed downstairs, they found their parents in the living room watching T.V together, the two teens blocked their vision of the screen and smirked.

"We're going out for a little, while we're gone you two are going to have a shower, your hairs better be dry by the time we get home" Hitoshi said in a stern tone, Izuku nodded his head while giggling, the two men looked at each other in confusion and then looked at their kids in suspicion.
