*Veronica's pov*

I somehow manage to convince my mom to have my dad to bring me back to school to hangout with my "friends" to go shopping and get Starbucks that were waiting for me in the library. They did ask why I couldn't have had my backpack the whole time. I did ask would they want their backpacks for the whole time? Besides my dad was already there for me not to have him take it, and I did need to put on "comfortable" clothes. I just needed to get some clothes that I can do some stunts in.

I rushed into the library and for some reason saw the boys backpacks just lying there next to the tables we were chatting around.

"Hey, Jake where are the guys?"

"You're not going to like it." He says.

I scoff. "Oh really? How? They are simply boring humans."

He scoffs. "Not on the contrary madam."

I cross my arms. "Ok. Then what?"

"The boys went to do the mission." My heart sank as fear and anger started to rise.

"What?" I gritted my teeth, trying not to shout out of anger.

"They thought that since they did all that work they deserved to go on the mission with or without you."

"You didn't do anything?!" I shouted as I walked up to the projector screen. "Like you said, they're humans!" He shouts back to defend himself.

I angrily groan and rush over to the weapon wall to grab my black leather belt and the two glocks that came along with it.

"You're going to rescue them?" Jake asks curiously.

"Yup." I click the belt on me and closed the weapon case.

"Are you even prepared?" He just had to ask.

"I came back because I found out what location is perfect for 'The Capturer'." I put on my black jean jacket.

"Just be careful!" Jake shouts back as I rush out the door.

Sadly the street is not that short of a walk to get to. Thankfully I got to use my bus pass that my dad gave me and Camila to get to it fast enough.

I used my phone's light to guide my way through what it seemed like a empty abandoned parking lot with a construction site next to it. It seemed like it was going to be a mall, like we need anymore of those. I set my light down in case anyone was there and tip toed my way to the ground floor of the parking lot. I quickly find a square outline dug into the ground and found out it was a opening to some kind of stone door. It lead to a another layer with rock and sand that did not reassure me that it was going to be a nice fall. I thought about the boys and thought that it would be my fault that they would get killed since I couldn't jump down a few feet. I brought all the fear and anxiety to the back of my mind and jumped. Once I landed on my feet, I didn't feel anything. No pain, no soreness. Nothing. I couldn't question. I had to find the guys.

I walked along the dirt floor with medival torches glowing big flames and were stuck on the wall. It made me think that The Capturer is from the medival times. I got really curious with the torches for me to notice a odd door shaped outline just randomly next to one. I curiously pressed on it and it really did open up like a door and revealed a yellow room with people inside! They were wrapped like a mummy. Paper was wrapped tightly all around them and their arms were crossed over their chest. Just like a mummy. I rushed over to check if they were still breathing by cutting the wrapping open with one of my icicle daggers. I couldn't make out their breaths, but did see their chests rising up and down on all of them. I now had to get them and the guys out of there.
